This was not a good start for Monday Mornings. It was the lowest TNT scripted debut in more than a year and lost 40% of lead-in Dallas’ audience.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you like the new Monday Mornings TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Monday Mornings is one of the best shows on TV @ this time. I am a Medical Professional & find each episode plausable, accurate & entertaining. I can’t believe the ratings are that low. Of course I think ratings are directly correlated the IQ of the viewers!
Don’t we have enough entertainment for the Jersey Shore, Judge Judy crowd?
This is one of the best Dr/Hospital/Medical shows I have watched on television since ER. TNT should give it a chance to find an audience. Put it in a good time slot and watch it grow an audience. One more year and you will see an improvement. Change the time slot to Tuesday or Friday night at 10 and see if that works better.
PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL MONDAY MORNINGS. IT IS A GREAT SHOW.
TNT didn’t even give Monday Mornings a chance. Wonderful show. Great cast. Lousy time slot and very poor advertising. I’m tired of TNT and how they do things. Great writing on the stories. Maybe the show should be picked up by another network.
I love this show! But no one knew about it . Poor advertising and poor time slot. Great cast. It should be renewed and TNT should put more effort into talking about it. Maybe different time slot.
Mondy Mornings:
I love this program. I too stumbled upon this program by mistake. How can TNT hope to give it a fair chance without properly promoting it and the cast. I watch a fair amount of tv. This is a wonderful medical program like no other I’ve seen. I hope to see many more seasons. PLEASE RENEW THE CONTRACT for season 2, and many more. Let people know about it with the proper support!!
Fantastic show – It’s much more about medicine and how their personalities drive them as doctors’ as opposed to Grey’s Anatomy where the characters have devolved into who is sleeping with whom and out of control egos, along with unrealistic plot lines.
This show deserves many more seasons. We talk about “Monday Mornings” every Tuesday!
A show where people have great minds but can still be human, the endings are not always fairy tale what a great concept. I was glued to this from the first episode. For anyone sick of the escalating weirdness of Grey’s Anatomy, this was a breath of fresh air. Please don’t cancel it!
Keep it! Best new show in years!!!!!
I think Monday Mornings is probably the best medical show on TV. It’s thoughtful, insightful, and respectful; it’s got the finer elements of “House” without House’s personality. It delves thoughtfully into ethical and medical issues that impact the emotional and professional lives of doctors and patients. I especially like the Korean doctor and his blunt assessment of any given situation. Please do not cancel it.
I looked forward to this show every week – good actors and a good storyline. Please don’t cancel.
I really like this show!!! Please renew it. I love that they argue pro and con the ethics of various issues. It informs us of so much new technology of which otherwise I would have no knowledge. PLEASE…RENEW it…
I REALLY liked this show I was surprised to when they said it wasn’t going to be on any more. Please bring it back!!
if this show gets canceled it will be the 4th show they just ripped off with no consideration. i will no longer be watching that station. many family and friends have had enough as well. cheers was dead last when it got started. seinfeld did not do the numbers until it took cheers spot. so many shows that did not start out well but ended up doing well. they need to promote, and market a little more. years ago, there was a great show based on EMT’s and what they do. one season and it was gone. the cleaner was… Read more »
Love this show…don’ t cancel it!
