This was not a good start for Monday Mornings. It was the lowest TNT scripted debut in more than a year and lost 40% of lead-in Dallas’ audience.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you like the new Monday Mornings TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
My wife and I love this show. One of the few that we look forward to watching every week. TNT. Must keep it on, please!
I’m a big David Kelly fan, and this is one of his best. TNT definitely needs to stand pat and wait for word of mouth to kick in for season two.
Love, love, love it. Best thing on network television this year. Please give this one a chance and renew for another season.
having spent years in the medical field and attended both M&M and stood at the side of an OR table, this is by far THE best medical drama to come down the pike…it’s realistic, shows the macabre humor necessary to remain sane and isn’t sugar-coating the very human doctors that populate this world.
keep it going….please…we’re starving for brain food…
Well-written, & an instant FAVORITE!!! TNT DONT pull the plug on this one. Better advertising & strategy focusing on the patient drama! The case studies are the most realistic I have ever seen on a medical drama ever, cutting edge technology, procedure, and Dr Wooten gives the audience the food for thought that keeps me hooked! LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!!!!!!!!!
Great show, love it….everyone I’ve told about it loves it too…and say ” how come I haven’t heard of this show ?”…..lets get some advertising going TNT don’t let a good show go down the drain!
I love this series!! Smartly written, exceptional acting, best new show on Tv. Biggest barrier for success is that the scheduling of this new show feels as if it is “buried ” with intention of obscurity. Give this fine show a decent chance with better time period!
This show has terrific story lines, superbly written for a cast of compelling talent.
It manages to combine individual lines of narrative whilst enabling the characters to develop multi faceted personalities.
Gosh, it sounds like a show that adult people with spending power might watch – which networks seem to dismiss [where art thou Harry’s Law].
Monday Mornings, more than any new show I have seen in 2013, deserves a second series and the network needs to get behind the show and allow it to grow.
Monday Mornings is my favorite show. I TiVo it every week . Please bring it back — I work in a hospital too and it is very honest about how things work. Love it!
A wonderful show, superb acting, riveting plots… That being said, it makes perfect sense why Dallas is the wrong leadin. It is the wrong audience. I agree, major crimes would be better. Heck, Franklin and Bash would be better.
I love Monday Mornings. Please renew it fr another season. Having worked at a hospital for the art 25 years, this is the mst realistic medical drama I have seen in a long time. I think itis awesome.
I think this show is good. Why is it that the reality “trash” shows never end, but tv audiences have to worry about losing decent shows?
We like Monday Mornings very much. Good story lines and acting.
Intelligent material, great cast. Please keep it on.
I really love this show! It is the first medical drama I have actually watched regularly in many, many years. I think the problem was in the promotions. If it were not for the fact that I check out absolutely every drama that comes to tv, I would never have gotten into it. The promotions are totally downbeat and a total turnoff. The actual show is so much better, and so much more human and three dimensional, than the promotions would have you think. After the first episode, I was undecided. But after the second one, I knew it was… Read more »
This is a great show, but Dallas is absolutely the wrong lead-in. I DVR Monday Mornings and absolutely have no patience for the first and last couple of minutes that are captured at each end. I suspect that Major Cases or even Royal Pains would be a more appropriate lead-in audience. I really hope they bring it back but with the appropriate placement and support.
