A couple years ago, ABC aired a Canadian crime drama called Motive during the summer months. The network ran the series for two summers before dropping it after August 2014, most likely because of poor ratings.
However, Motive continued to be produced and aired in Canada but most TV viewers in the United States couldn’t continue to watch the show on television — until now.
USA Network has picked up Motive and will start airing episodes tomorrow night (April 1st). The cable channel is picking up where ABC left off and will be airing the third season. The cast includes Kristin Lehman, Louis Ferreira, Brendan Penny, Lauren Holly, Warren Christie and Roger Cross.
If you want to catch up, USA has posted the second seasons’ episodes online. They’ve also posted recaps of the first season’s installments.
The fourth (and final) season of Motive is currently airing in Canada. It will be interesting to see how long it will be before USA airs those episodes.

Brillant show! It’s too bad the best shows get cancelled, where the crappy shows, that don’t require many brain cells, last.
Great show. Too bad it is cancelled. Probably be replaced with another “reality” show. Like we need more of those.
Yet another intelligently written and well-acted series leaves the airwaves.
I have watched season 3 and love that you put motive on sunday since the networks have not one show that isnt a rerun that i would watch. I hope you pick up,season 4

I loved this show since abc and then ctv and now usa! How about keeping it and do a season 5 at usa?
I love the series, cast etc. I think they should renew the show, it’s actually one of the few intelligent police shows that the police use their brains & not rudeness with brute force.

at first i couldn’t get into it, but i went back and re-watched the first episodes and got hooked on it, please keep showing it on USA network, the one with Charlie giving the money away was my favorite
