What’s This TV Show About?
An Amazon comedy drama, Mozart in the Jungle stars Gael García Bernal, Lola Kirke, Malcolm McDowell, Bernadette Peters, Saffron Burrows, and Hannah Dunne. Guest stars in season four include Debra Monk, Masi Oka, Michael Emerson, and John Cameron Mitchell. In this installment Rodrigo (García Bernal) strives to maintain his inspiration, and Hailey (Kirke) is fighting to prove herself, professionally. Meanwhile, they go public with their relationship. Also, Gloria (Peters) feels challenged, when Thomas (McDowell) joins a Brooklyn start-up orchestra.

Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is hard to predict whether Amazon will cancel or renew Mozart in the Jungle for a fifth season. I have immensely enjoyed “Mozart in the Jungle”and will be sorely disappointed if it’s not renewed for a 5th season.
I love this show. Please keep us enchanted with these characters and music. It has been enough mob and violence on shows. Mozart is a refresher.

Great show. Love the idiosyncratic characters, just like real life but much better looking. I hope there is a season 5 and that it will include more music being played, not just discussed.

Le ton est vivace et bondissant, très mozartien et à ce titre excessivement moderne. Les acteurs sont tous éblouissants, le format court (entre 20 à 23 mn) fait de chaque épisode un concentré de bonheur à regarder. Pétillant !

One of my favorite shows. Beautiful music and great acting . Please renew and keep Hailey and Rodrigo as a couple entangled with challenging new music.
This show does not have any resemblance to the book except that it does reflect the current state of classical music. The themes of fundraising, difficulties in personalities, chronic injuries, substance abuse, career anxieties are portrayed beautifully and honestly. It’s a double treat-the realities of the book dovetail nicely with the performances in the series. I hope there’s a season 5 and six and seven….
Mozart In The Jungle is bordering on my favourite show – perfect length, great characters, witty yet sensitive script, fantastic music. Just wish the seasons were longer than 10 episodes. There must be at least a Season 5
It would be crushing not to have another season of this wonderful show not to mention not knowing what happens with Rodrigo and Hailey…..
Season four has left me hanging. It would be shame to not continue on with one or more seasons. We don’t know what’s going to happen with Haley and Roderigo or what the maestro will decide what his next career will be. I think if the the series is going to end it should be with a great finale tying everything up; it’s not yet tied up. Otherwise I guess we’ll just have to leave it up to the audiences imagination. Totally agree with you Ellen! Rodrigo and HaiLai have to fulfill their, Maestro Riviera’s, Mozart ‘s and the robot’s dreams.
