The peacock network has released some dates for the Summer 2014 schedule including the summer debuts of American Ninja Warrior, America’s Got Talent, and Hollywood Game Night.
Season six of American Ninja Warrior will kick off on Monday, May 26th, at 8pm. It’s expected to run for two hours each Monday night until September 15th. This will be the third season for NBC. It began airing on G4 in 2009.
The ninth season of America’s Got Talent is set to debut on Tuesday, May 27th, at 8pm. It will air 8-10pm on Tuesdays until July 15th. It will shift to 9-11pm starting July 22nd and will continue in that slot on Tuesdays until September 16th.
In addition, America’s Got Talent will air for one hour on Wednesdays at 9pm, from July 23rd until September 17th.
Hollywood Game Night will kick off its summer run on Thursday, May 22nd, at 9pm. This series will run through September 18th. The celebrity game show returns tonight at 9pm, taking over for low-rated sitcoms Sean Saves the World (cancelled) and The Michael J. Fox Show (all but cancelled).
For those keeping track, NBC hasn’t made any mention of bringing back low-rated shows from last summer like Siberia or Crossing Lines. The latter was renewed for a second season internationally but NBC hasn’t announced any plans to air it yet. sitcom Camp was cancelled last September.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to watching any of NBC’s summer programming?
I only watch NBC for Dracula and Revolution I have no idea what the other shows are about and I could care less
When will Crossing Lines air? I really liked watching season 1 on Netflx. I want more. Thank you.
Only watch dracula, oh well I guess quality tv is a thing of the past. It seems like only friends of the rich are dubbed actors and thrown on a tv show with poor story lines and a recorded audience laugh. Too bad I wont be watching tv at all just renting what little is worthwhile.
I really hope NBC will bring back CROSSING LINES. It will catch on & be a hit. Give it a real chance.
Just give us dracula please!
Wait a minute… is that a 5th buzzer I see right smack dab in the middle of the judges’ desk?
Dracula was the only show I watched on NBC. As a matter of fact, it was one of only two shows I watch on television, period. The other show that I watch is on another network, which I won’t mention. If Dracula is not renewed for a second season, I will not watch NBC because there’s really no other shows on NBC that compares to it in the quality and excellence of its script, acting, cinematography, and sheer entertainment value.
Crossing Lines was good. My question and many more fans is WHAT about Dracula? We want a 2nd season. Thanks.
I don’t watch game shows or “reality” shows. I find them utterly boring. Give me Grimm and Dracula and I’m happy. The rest is garbage.
LOL. Trapper, that’s the exact opposite of the way I feel.. I gave Grimm and Dracula a try, but found them to be garbage. Guess that’s why there are so many choices!
Trapper I’m completely with you Dracula is a big deal for my husband and I we never miss it even though we can’t watch at time of original airing of show but we always watch it ondemand within 24 hours of it airing. I haven’t been this excited about a show in years and it’s awesome that my husband gets just as excited about watching with me.
Crossing lines was an interesting show since it was from a Euro angle. I’d watch more of that.
America’s Got Talent used to be good, but the ‘sad sack’ ‘woe be me’ stories were too much to bear. I want talent not someone who suffered through something and thinks they should be good.
Occassionally I’ll tune into Ninja if nothing else is on and I am bored. Which isn’t often.
Won’t be watching any of the above programmed shows! But please take note —- bring back Crossing Lines at a decent time, in a decent time period, advertised properly and with enthusiasm. If it got all the hype that the “reality” shows got, it would be in the top ten programs for all channels! Intellectually challenging and great acting with very good actors.
Thank you!
Those are just a bunch of worthless, mindless reality competition shows. No thanks.
I won’t be watching any of them.
I watch 4 programs on NBC, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Parenthood, and SVU. I wonder if PD will run episodes all summer long, as they got a late start. If not, no NBC from May to September. What garbage.
nope. won’t be watching. it’s all garbage.
