What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, The Night Shift stars Robert Bailey Jr., Eoin Macken, Jill Flint, Brendan Fehr, Scott Wolf, Tanaya Beatty, and JR Lemon, with Mark Consuelos recurring in season four. Although they’re kind of quirky, San Antonio Memorial’s emergency room night shift staff is extraordinary. They’ll risk almost anything to save their patients. Season three ended with Paul Cummings (Bailey) leading a staff walk-out after his father bought the hospital and fired Topher. Meanwhile, overseas, TC Callahan (Macken) was knocked out, during a refugee camp bombing. The fourth season picks up two days later, with everyone dealing with the consequences of their decisions. In Syria, TC’s proclivity for chaos helps him save people.
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of The Night Shift averaged a 0.66 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.96 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 32% and down by 21%, respectively. Find out how The Night Shift stacks up against other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Although season four premiered with much lower numbers than last season, it is still a bit too early to use the ratings to predict whether NBC will cancel or renew The Night Shift for season five. That said, this show’s audience has declined from year to year, particularly in its demo ratings. While I haven’t left my perch, my interest and appetite are piqued. I look forward to every week just so I can watch it. This is a incredible show and it would suck if they were to cancel it. It shows bravery and gives everyone a look on what’s going on around us. Please renew it for season 5!

This show has hit everything right. The current season wth focus on real stories of veterans and current military is something that needs to be heard. Its characters are so genuine and what is portrayed is honest though brutal. Everyone should be watching. The latest episode focusing on immigrants was real-life and done so eloquently but also subtly. This show has to continue and anyone who holds a political office should be required to watch.

We need Season 5 and please more Episodes i was a huge Fan of Grey’s Anatomy until they killed of Mcdreamy it lost all it’s appeal. So i had a huge void for a Hospital Drama and The Night Shift has filled that and i absolutely love it. It is by far one of the best shows on Tv at the moment. It could easily run a 20 episode long series and we’d still all be tuning in every week to watch the latest episodes.
