Pose has already been renewed for a third season, but will there be a fourth? Recently, executive producer Ryan Murphy discussed the future of the FX TV show, IndieWire reports.
The drama series takes place in the late ’80s and early ’90s and revolves around several segments of society in New York City — ball subculture, Trump-era excess, and the downtown social and literary scenes. The cast includes Mj Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore, Hailie Sahar, Angelica Ross, Billy Porter, Ryan Jamaal Swain, and Angel Bismark Curiel.
During a recent interview in Los Angeles, Murphy revealed that season two of Pose will jump ahead to 1991 for its finale and he envisions the series ending 1996, when AIDS medication became more readily available.
FX has already renewed Pose for a third season. The series is currently airing its second season, which airs its finale on August 20th.
What do you think? Do you watch Pose? How many more seasons do you want?
Pose is a wonderful show. It’s club kids from the 90s, HIV/AIDS awareness, it’s American history. I love love love ❤️ this show. Ryan is wonderful writer. Plz keep it for full 7 seasons.

POSE is a breath of fresh air! Please don’t stop now!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
This show is amazing. With excellent writing, producing and directing. Pose is truly a gem amongst all other tv shows out there. This show is important to see for not only the ballroom culture to see and be validated as human beings but it’s also important for the rest of us out here whom had no idea there was such a thing as a ballroom culture. I have always been a friend to the LGBTQ community and I know a lot about the AIDS epidemic. This Story line allows people to see a new subculture’s history being told in a… Read more »
I love this show! I just started watching it few days ago. So I had to go back to watch the 1st season, and I am hooked! I love these people! I want more and more!!!!
This is one of my favorite shows. I’m a straight female, but this show makes me respect my gay friends even more. It makes me respect the trans community more. ❤️❤️❤️
I love this show and got my Mom hooked. We watch it together and can’t wait for the next episode!
We want pose we want pose we want pose yassssss
I love this show I remember all this back then and I had alot of gay and trans friend’s it’s good to see what the real truth was false behind the stigmatism Americans felt they didn’t know the truth they only wanted to go by there own poor judgements and bigotry there was no need for hate can’t wait for the next season hate the finale is coming up.
Love it! I lived in NYC during this time and was a (straight female) hairdresser in high end hair salons and experienced much of what is expressed in Pose directly. I.e. watching friends fall sick and die, the fear that filled the city (clients coming into the salon did not always know what to think, how to feel or respond appropriately (i.e. – do you sterilize your combs?) and the over-the-top expression of fashion (so fun!) I think everyone involved has done and is doing a brilliant job of bringing that era to life, while bringing awareness of some very… Read more »
POSE! WE NEED THIS SHOW ITS MAINSTREAM FOR MY COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE WHO LOOK LIKE ME!
The show gives insight into an overlooked but vital segment of our society. The characters are endearing textured and multifaceted. Keep it in production at least 5 more seasons.
Oh please keep this show on forever! It is so beautiful and important!
I watched the first episode and got sidettacked. I just binged watched the remaining episodes. When I got to Season 2 Episode 9 I knew and clearly read the seaon finale would be 8/20, that didnt stop me from repeatedly pressing play. I am so thrilled this series gives value to people being who they are created to be, it makes me sad friends and family did not survive this horrible disease, but it gives me so much hopenfor an improved future where all people are accepting of all people. I hope the series continues beyond season 3, this show… Read more »
