There won’t be a second season for Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Freeform has cancelled the Pretty Little Liars spin-off after one season of 10 episodes. The last episode aired in May of this year.
A mystery drama, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists stars Sasha Pieterse, Janel Parrish, Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Eli Brown, Kelly Rutherford, Hayley Erin, Graeme Thomas King, Chris Mason, Noah Gray-Cabey, and Evan Bittencourt. The crime thriller unfolds at Beacon Heights University and the surrounding town and centers on three over-achieving students, friends Ava (Carson), Caitlin (Park), and Dylan (Brown) — known as the Perfectionists. After the first-ever murder in Beacon Heights, although they work together to solve the mystery, each Perfectionist hides behind a secret, a lie, and an alibi.
The first (and only) season averaged a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 260,000 viewers. It’s one of the lowest-rated scripted series on Freeform while Pretty Little Liars, which ended in 2017, was the channel’s highest-rated show by far.

Disappointed they are not bringing it back, loved this show. Seems they dont give the show enough time to get a correct response. Going to miss it.

I would have watched season two. I enjoy the show a lot, although Pretty Little Liars was EXCELLENT and was really disappointed when it ended–they had a good run, huh?

I am so disappointed and wish I knew what numbers they were looking at. My daughter even said she preferred Perfectionists to the original PLL!! Please reconsider and bring it back!!

That’s what happens when you lie to the fans. You shouldn’t have divorced Ali and Emily. They could have replaced Shay Mitchell as Emily to have the character involved in the Perfectionists. That would have been preferable to what they did. Marlene should’ve known better. She’s a lesbian herself. Hollywood is always killing us off or ending our relationships. Shameless.
That’s the one of the best things the series did, undid a toxic relationship that never should have happened. I’m all for lesbian relationships but Ali was always wrong for Emily. Emily deserved someone much better.
I hate that this was cancelled, I loved season 1 and was looking forward to season 2.
