Earlier today, FOX chairman and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman noted that they’d love to revive Prison Break, the action drama that starred Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. It ran for four seasons and wrapped up with a movie.
Newman said, “There is some speculation in the press about Prison Break, which honestly was slightly news to us…. Although we’ve made it clear over the years to the studio that we would bring Prison Break back in a heartbeat.”
He continued, “It’s probably the perfect event series. If our old partners in that show are interested, that would be great. But at the moment, we have nothing else to report.”
Purcell and Miller are currently recurring in their roles as villains Heat Wave and Captain Cold on The Flash on The CW. That series was renewed for a second season earlier this week.

I saw this show on Netflix and started watching it immediately and I’m about to complete the series and I’m in total despair that it’s about to come to an end I hope y’all bring it back with a majority of the old cast and definitely bring back Michael!

Hi, Debbie, I did not mean to offend anyone. I know he’s a great actor, that is why he was able to convey so much reality in the scenes portrayed. What I meant with my comment, is that for the series back, this will need to be a success again, and I’m afraid that biased people can boycott it for this reason. I hope that Fox, do the fifth, the sixth, and many other seasons. As I said earlier, I love this series. And, of course, no other can compare to that.
From what I’ve accompanied in the media, Prison Break will even return. I always wanted it to happen. I loved this series, and has attended four temporados several times, I never tire. But at the same time, I’m afraid this back end up ruining what has been counted. The actors are 10 years older than when recorded the prieira season. And I’m afraid that some harm. No their will still be chemistry…. Do you think what they had before was real ? Probably not that’s why it’s called acting . There will be chemistry because that is their job does r matter if he his gay. There are alot of gay actors that play straight characters most notably Matt bolmer . it’s his highly offensive to come to such a conclusion just because an actor is gay . I’m not penalising you , I know it was just question that you raises . But it still mught ve offensive to others .

Please bring back prison break season 5 is needed with the same characters , got to be a way that Michael is not dead.

I think the same way. I used to accompany some series with my son. But after watching Prison Break, I can not keep up any more. Nothing compares creativity that was used on Prison Break, the plots, the characters, the excitement. And the worst is that, with the entry of Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell in the new series of DC “Legends of Tomorrow”, it’s almost impossible that the return to FOX Prison Break. Unfortunately …
Nothing has been as great as Prison Break…. I don’t think anything ever will be…. Sad, but true. That show was the best.

After so long, no longer believe more in the back of the series, unfortunately. Since I watched Prison Break, I can not find any so interesting as this series. The series that are going are all the same, without a creative and exciting script was like Prison Break. It’s really a shame, but do what … we just have to keep watching the episodes again. And hope one day to find that FOX worth (financial) return to the series.
Maicon need to live . He’s too smart to die of such a beast form . They could place as it really saved sara, without using the maps to attach the cables. Then he leaves to go behind your healing not wanting to give false hopes to FAMIA . After four years he returns cured and discovers that encontrarma Sara and she was arrested . He needs to let her go and protect the daughter of t bag that came out of prison.

Yes, yes, definitely a BIG YES! I would love to see all of it come back alive, and of course Michael Scofielf alive. I just completed watching the series and now there is this hole inside my heart which wants Michael Scofield back or it’s gonna drown. He shouldn’t have died, the character deserves to live.

They brought back the ” X-Files “, They can now bring back, Prison Break!
Getting the old characters would be amazing, and they can continue on with there story without having different people.
