Earlier today, FOX chairman and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman noted that they’d love to revive Prison Break, the action drama that starred Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. It ran for four seasons and wrapped up with a movie.
Newman said, “There is some speculation in the press about Prison Break, which honestly was slightly news to us…. Although we’ve made it clear over the years to the studio that we would bring Prison Break back in a heartbeat.”
He continued, “It’s probably the perfect event series. If our old partners in that show are interested, that would be great. But at the moment, we have nothing else to report.”
Purcell and Miller are currently recurring in their roles as villains Heat Wave and Captain Cold on The Flash on The CW. That series was renewed for a second season earlier this week.

The first season was good, the second season was fairly good too, but by the third season it was clear that they ran out of fresh ideas. It really became a sad state of affairs by then. The problem with Prison Break is the concept of a Prison Break. Such a concept can be made into a mini series, but beyond that you run out of concept and have a tough time keeping things fresh and interesting. DEFINITELY BRING BACK PRISON BREAK! I stayed home a whole week on purpose just to watch the beginnung to the end of the rerun shows in 2013…my excuse was the flu.
Undoubtedly i would bring prison break back. I think there are many ways that they could go about with a new season and bring michael back
I would absolutely love to see Prison Break again. I use to rush home to see Prison Break and 24 . Monday night was the best night for TV. FoxTV took off some the best shows ever.

Please bring “Prison Break” back, with the same cast members. If I remember correctly Micheal had a baby coming by the nurse , Sara, that would be the perfect way that you could bring Micheal back . He faked his death with the help of a doctor in the morgue planned and orchestrated years ago by his brother that they both planned for each other with they’re doctor. Sorry it would be fox to carry it though. It should come on a less controversial station like NBC or CBS or the CW.

I’d love it if they brought Prison Break (and Michael) back! That movie wasn’t very good and hardly a fitting end to such a great series.
The threat by Fox to revive Prison Break is yet another example of their twisted programmatic thinking. Revive this piece of crap and cancel a positive show like Red Band Society ? Give me a break guys! Please fire the person who makes these crummy decisions.

Hell yes they should resurrect it, along with Michael Scofield. That show was awesome and I hated the way it ended. I’d love a 5-years-down-the-road look that shows some conspiracy as to why Scofield’s death was faked. Would love to see he, Sara and Linc reunite… Make it happen!
