Earlier today, FOX chairman and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman noted that they’d love to revive Prison Break, the action drama that starred Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. It ran for four seasons and wrapped up with a movie.
Newman said, “There is some speculation in the press about Prison Break, which honestly was slightly news to us…. Although we’ve made it clear over the years to the studio that we would bring Prison Break back in a heartbeat.”
He continued, “It’s probably the perfect event series. If our old partners in that show are interested, that would be great. But at the moment, we have nothing else to report.”
Purcell and Miller are currently recurring in their roles as villains Heat Wave and Captain Cold on The Flash on The CW. That series was renewed for a second season earlier this week.

Bring back our Prison Break, pls. No matter scofield died in the final break. But, I think it’s much easier to devise a story in Season 5, such as, MS was captured by the FBI n’ that it was necessary to conceal his wherabouts by his death. For the US president needed him to break the Secretary of states out of a powerful ISIS well-controlled prison!… Sucre may play a journalist also captured by ISIS, as well as. Bring it back with same characters. I just sat and watched 2 seasons on netflix. I was unable to watch while it aired. Loved it. However would have liked to see. Michael with a happier ending after all he went through .
