Hallmark is headed to The Heart of Dixie. The network just announced they’ve ordered a new TV show called Project Christmas Joy: Alabama.
The makeover series “will give a town in need an extreme Hallmark holiday transformation.” The makeover includes an “extravagant Christmas tree lighting,” a Main Street renovation, and more.

New York, NY, March 21, 2019 – Crown Media Family Networks announced today “Project Christmas Joy: Alabama” [Working Title] on Hallmark Drama, a new original program coming this Christmas season that will give a town in need an extreme Hallmark holiday transformation. From an extravagant Christmas tree lighting to a Main Street makeover, this series will spread holiday cheer for a town that needs it the most. The program is one of two new original programming installments for Hallmark Drama announced at Crown Media’s upfront event tonight, both of which are the network’s first on-air original content since its launch.

I like the Christmas movies but I really missed the older holiday movies. Please bring them back.
I like most Hallmark Christmas movies. I would like to see some of the older movies put back on. A Season for Miracles, Fallen Angel. There’s so many more. Please concern putting these and more older ones on. Thank You

Being a long time avid fan of music group ALABAMA…from Fort Payne, Alabama…the town’s main street is quaint with that old fashioned charm and tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains…from Jeff Cook’s Castle, to Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry’s farms…beautiful Waterfalls with their Christmas music a plus, I couldn’t think of a better Hallmark Christmas movie backdrop.
