Wow, I could not believe this show was even cancelled, but so excited about it being renewed! There is a eye-opening and exhilarating portrayal of history unfolding in this drama. Having lived in Atlanta over 35 years, attended Clark Atlanta University, and worked at Spellman College I am riveted at this series and have been binge-watching it. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it saddens me how unbelievably eager we are to jump on the negative bandwagon. Not all black lives have to be filled with guns, drugs, violence and church to be authentic. I’m hooked! The script… Read more »
I enjoyed the show. I am looking forward to season 2. I am a senior citizen, who loves dramas. I think this is a great show with excellent acting.
I love so much watching the series, The Quad, one of my very favorite Atlanta-based shows I love where it’s film from the city I live in. I’m glad to know the show’s coming back and be sure to watch the first new one episode and even of all the episode when they air on BET.
so ready for season 2!!!! when is it coming????
Go will watch for sure.
I can’t for season 2 just googled to see if it was coming back on I loved the show
Renew!! Excellent and believable. Able to connect with several characters and situations.
Love the show. Looking forward to season 2. People, relax. It’s not a documentary. It’s fiction. It a show. Let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot.
I think the show is good but got off to a rocky start by adding too much drama and not enough depth. I would have like to witness the intake process of the freshman as they build on them, but instead the writers went straight for the jugular leaving no dramatic build up, they didn’t leave the audience thirsty for me. Where was the foreplay, the tease, the excitement of where these characters would go to next? The writers need to step back and start anew with season 2! Learn from the Game of Thrones and please take your time… Read more »
I can’t wait until the second season comes on. I just googled to see if the show was renewed. I’m glad to hear it’s coming back on.
Love the Quad. Can’t wait to see the second season’s drama.
Cant wait for season 2 I love this show remind me of my college life at a HBCU. Ready to see the next season.
I really liked the show. HOWEVER, I do not think the writers did a good job of casting HCBUs in a positive light. There is so much more to offer at HBCUs and I hopefully anticipate more positive story lines the next season.
Yes..Yes and yes.. I’m waiting. This is my show. Please don’t say cancel.. Not looking forward to nothing like that..
I saw the show and thought it was well made. As a proud graduate of an HBCU, I remember my interest coming from watching A DIFFERENT World, a fantastic sitcom. I recognize that it is important to get visibility for actual HBCUs, but we must be careful not to limit creativity. These talented actors are doing a great job of presenting another part of the reality for some people. I also know that I do not look to television to represent the fullness of any experience, especially my own. Thank you Anoka Noni Rose, Rubens Santiago Hudson, Jasmine Guy, etc,… Read more »
