Queen of the South will continue its reign. Deadline reports USA Network has renewed the TV show for a fifth season.
The drama stars Alice Braga as Teresa Mendoza, a woman on the run from a powerful drug cartel, who seeks refuge in the U.S. The cast also includes Veronica Falcón, Hemky Madera, Peter Gadiot, Jon-Michael Ecker, Idalia Valles, and Nick Sagar.
It’s not surprising USA Network has renewed Queen of the South for a fifth season. The series has been one of the network’s top-rated shows since it debuted in 2016. And so far, season four has been no different.
Queen of the South is currently averaging a .29 rating in the 18-49 demo and 911,000 viewers. Even though that’s a near 20% drop in the ratings since season three, the show remains popular with fans.
The season four finale of Queen of the South premieres on USA Network tonight, August 29th, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

I watch this in Spanish and English since IAM bilingual and English version is the best have more action exploctions fire in Spanish in telemundo is good but English is better sometimes I watch in English then I tune in Spanish love it
Stop cutting out the characters we have come to know and love. I think taking javier out of the series was a big mistake. although this is just a novella, watching it weekly you become attached and look forward to seeing certain characters. Then they’re taken out and replaced with new ones. I do believe this is how a show drops in ratings. My advice to you is definitely do not remove Pote, Boaz, or King George. The whole cast and the show exceeds awesome and is worth watching season 1 to. 4 continuously. The best series since Miami Vice
