ABC Family has cancelled Ravenswood after one short season of 10 episodes. Though Pretty Little Liars is the cable channel’s biggest scripted series, the spin-off just never caught on.
Ravenswood follows a group of five young strangers who find their lives intertwined thanks to a deadly curse in a small Pennsylvania town. The cast includes Tyler Blackburn, Nicole Anderson, Britne Oldford, Brett Dier, Merritt Patterson, and Steven Cabral.
Debuting in late October, Ravenswood’s first episode drew a healthy 2.12 million viewers. However, many viewers must not have liked what they saw because only half as many tuned in for the second episode.
The cable channel tried to give the series a fighting chance by putting it on hiatus over the holidays and then by pairing it with Liars. That gave the show an initial boost but viewers fled once again the following week. The 10 episode season ended up averaging 1.29 million viewers.
The defacto series finale aired on February 4th.

It was an awesome show I loved it I’m mad that ABC family end it the way they did it sucks that there won’t be a second season wish that they didn’t cancelled ravenwood and like to know what is going to happen to Caleb in ravenwood I’m upset with abc family that they cancelled it.
I loved Ravenswood! They need to at least do a season 2 to end the show correctly and let the ones who watched it find out what happens.

OMG! I cant believe they stopped it. It explained a lot about what happened to Caleb in Ravenswood. It was amazing. I am very upset with ABC Family
we all are. Someone said recently don’t get hooked on any abc family new shows wait for second season this way you won’t be disappointed when they cancel it. I can’t agree more
I WANT REVENSWOOD BACK. This was an awesome show. Have no idea why it didn’t catch on but it was so good. There was so much going on in just the first season that it definitely deserved a chance at a second season. Just put it on when pll isn’t on. Like when twisted comes on when every other show is off Ravenswood should’ve came on then. It definitely didn’t deserve to be canceled. Loved Ravenswood! This is just so wrong. It was an awesome show with a great cast and every bit as good if not better than PLL. I am very disappointed in ABC Family for dropping the show after one season.
