TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
usually a series will draw me in by the concept – then if the characters are interesting I stay but finally if the writing is not up to par – I leave. this show was excellent in all 3 categories.
One of the best shows ever could not believe they canceled it at the peak of all the action and left us all hanging like that. I like all the actors they were all very talented and drawed you in. Please bring it back!

One of the the greatest shows I have seen ever. It’s is so sad and disappointed to cancel the the Show. I don’t understand why this great show to be cancelled and stupid shows to be continued. I hope they will continue and make us happy ..
Glreat series why are you cancelling always exciting one of the best shows on tv
I am so tired of getting hooked to shows just to have them cancelled with no series finale. Please people!!!! I enjoyed Revolution. The characters were great, the storyline was good and I was entertained. It had everything I looked for in a show. Thanks so much….more and more each year I stay away from series for fear it will be cancelled. That is all that seems to happen anymore. Why doesn’t someone just come up with a mini series so we know the end is coming and the storyline will be finished. We would all be a lot happier… Read more »
Revolution was one of the greatest sagas ever created – the characters were awesome, relationships were interwoven… the Miles/Monroe Bromance was EPIC – Best Ever. We loved our characters….even the bad ones…they made us think and have conversations with one another….opened up the definition of Family, Trust, Loyalty…gave us action, adventure….NBC made a horrific decision in cancelling this show…it gains fans daily…hoping someone will bring it back….IT IS TOO GOOD TO DISAPPEAR.
Is there any possible way this show gets picked up by another network? It was a fantastic show with great characters. Really liked it and am sorry NBC cancelled it. Any news?

I understand you are in the business of profit, but it would be nice to have a conclusion episode when you decide to cancel a show.
Why do you always cancel all the good shows. You shouldn’t leave people hanging waiting for the return of a show. And if you are going to cancel at least bring it back on to do a season finally so we know that it won’t be coming back on.This really sucks.
really good show NBC shows there intelligence
wa a really good show
My husband and I LOVED this show. Why on earth do they seem to always cancel the shows that we like? It’s always another sitcom or something that just makes you want to change the channel due to cramming indecensy down our throats.
Loved this show a lot. Please renew it!!
I loved this show alot, and I would love to see it back on. It is my # 1 show. Please put it back on. I know alot of people that watched it.

I liked the series & watched it all. What a terrible thing, to loose our power grid. Something like this would probably happen. Id like to see it cone back, and I’d watch it.
