TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
Love Revolution want to see it come back
Wow loved this show wish it was still on.
I cannot believe this got canceled. Everyone I talked to about their favorite TV shows said that Revolution was a show they loved. I don’t watch many shows but this one was special. At the beginning of each week, I feel like it’s going to be on and I have to make sure to tape it! I still find people talking about it because they didn’t know it was canceled and were just waiting…….and waiting…….
PLEASE RECONSIDER!! GREAT ACTING!!! GREAT SHOW!!!
Please bring back revolution
BRING IT BACK NOW !!!
Bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m glad i got all the episodes so i can watch them over and over.
Can i have Revolution back please?.. Please?
I still miss Revolution – should have never been canceled. J.J. Abrams must be getting lazy or stupid. He sure messed up not continuing the series.
I still miss Revolution – should have never been canceled.
Bring back revolution! I watched it from the start and was stuck. I enjoyed every episode! Please bring it back.
Also I have noticed other shows that I just got connected to. Involved in them is one season ,I don’t feel one season is enough. I’ve lost REVOLUTION,STAR CROSSERS,THE BRIDGE, TOMORROW PEOPLE, THE LOTTERY, DRACULA, ALMOST HUMAN, BEING HUMAN, TRUE BLOOD, SONS OF ANARCHY. I can understand the ones that want to quit after 6 or 7 years, but give the others some more time. Sometimes it takes the word if mouth to get to us. PLEAS, PLEASE, PLEASE
I’ve only just got into this series, gutted is not quite the word I want but it will have to do. A brilliant series can’t believe it’s been cancelled. Fantastic script with brilliant actors. Why finish on a cliffhanger. Bring Revolution back.
Sign the various petitions and go on Facebook. Trying to get a cable channel or Netflix to pick it up’
It is sad that the channels such as ABC, CBS AND NBC is loosing viewers. If my mother was still alive she would have a cow. She haired comedys or most sports, and seems to be all you ever have on. Myself can’t stand either, you are eliminating all the shows I like and get interested in . Please find another way of handling it.
This show defiantly needs to come back… My family and I and a bunch if other people I know that watched the show was so upset to hear it was cancelled especially when it looked like they were going to get the electricity back on plz plz plz bring this show back!!!!
