TV show description:
This dramatic science-fiction TV series explores the question “What would you do without it all?” A family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, planes, cars, phones, lights — has mysteriously stopped working. Electrical power has simply gone away. The show also revolves around the idea of family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.
Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) is the headstrong, curious and daring daughter of Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Ben Matheson (Tim Guinee). Ben is hiding a mysterious secret about the blackout. Maggie (Anna Lise Phillips), a medical doctor, became involved with him following his wife’s death.
When Charlie’s younger and thoughtful brother, Danny (Graham Rogers), is kidnapped by militia leaders, she must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles Matheson (Billy Burke), a former US Marine and warrior who’s living as a recluse.
Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed and how or if it will ever return.
The rebel group includes fighter Nora (Daniella Alonso); General “Bass” Monroe (David Lyons), a former Marine who served alongside Miles; and Aaron (Zak Orth), a former Google executive and a computer genius who’s ill-prepared for the rigors of the technology-less world.
Captain Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito), a cultured former insurance adjuster turned Monroe Republic leader and Nate Walker (JD Pardo) is a member of the militia who has conflicted feelings for Charlie.
Episode #42 — Declaration of Independence
Miles (Billy Burke), Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Monroe (David Lyons) launch an attack on the Patriots, but must improvise a risky new plan in order to halt the oncoming war between California and Texas. Out for revenge, Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) sets his sights on President Davis (guest star Cotter Smith). Meanwhile, Aaron (Zak Orth) and Rachel’s (Elizabeth Mitchell) efforts to save Priscilla (guest star Maureen Sebastian) from the nano-tech has unexpected consequences.
First aired: May 21, 2014.
What do you think? Do you like the Revolution TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I wish that I could have seen more of it. It sucks that it ended. I loved that show. I won’t read it in a comic book. Please bring it back on TV, Please.
I absolutely loved this show. I think it was a real eye opener to see how life would be if all of our creature comforts were taken away and lawlessness was the rule of the day.
The show was great, but like anything good it won’t last. AMC has made up there minds they will not finish it off for us. They said they would finish it in a comic book! I am 67 and quit reading comics when I was 15. The Walking Dead is next. After season 8 they have killed off every one else and all you spoilers out there quit it let me find out for myself.
Love this show… when are they planning to coming back again on tv show? so please keep going and want to the rest new tv show. Thanks
This is now being shown in the UK and is great – jolly bad show it is being cancelled would have liked to see how the bally thing progressed.

I was totally disappointed when they pulled this show. I hope they reconsider that decision and bring it back. It had a unique story and an interesting set of characters. It was a lot more interesting than some of the current LE procedurals and inane comedies on the tube.
OMG!! I just got done watching this on Netflix, and I loved it!! I was so upset when the show didn’t go on.. I’d love for the seasons to keep coming..

Loved the series. Kept waiting for the next season.Hope you bring it back.
Just finished watching this show on Netflix. I loved Miles and Bass and wanted the show to keep going just to watch them. I thought Miles was so awful to Bass. Bass reached out to Miles so many times, but Miles just pushed him away every time. I felt so sorry for Bass the entire show. The poor guy went through so much loss in his life and just wanted his best friend and brother back, but Miles was so cold to him.
Bring it back great series that needs a conclusion
Need to see what to do about those nanos and the pesky fireflies. At least film a conclusion!
Love revolution. I would like to see it come back
Please bring Revolution back!!!! We enjoyed the series, just finished watching it on Netflix. We were disappointed when it was over!
