The Conners are coming back! ABC has announced it has ordered the Roseanne TV show revival. A family sitcom, Roseanne originally ran for nine seasons on ABC from October 18, 1988 to May 20, 1997.
Deadline reports, Roseanne, season 10, will feature Roseanne Barr as Roseanne; John Goodman as Dan; Sara Gilbert as Darlene; Laurie Metcalf as Jackie; Michael Fishman as D.J.; and Lecy Goranson as Becky. According to the report, Scrubs‘ Sarah Chalke, who notoriously played the second iteration of Becky, will also appear in another role.
In the original 1997 Roseanne TV series finale, viewers learned Goodman’s Dan died of a heart attack. According to the report, in the upcoming eight-episode tenth season, it may be revealed that he actually faked his death.

Sure I will watch it. I watched 9 seasons of this show and look forward to it coming back on the air. I’m glad Dan will be coming back.

Enjoyed Roseanne back in the day; but don’t like sitcoms any more. I doubt I’ll watch.
Caution: Roseanne’s discordant voice can break your sound system & have sickening effects on your ears. Bad news (but of course it will have its type of audience).
