Rosewood is back for more. Variety reports FOX has renewed the series for a second season.
The police procedural stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., an optimistic pathologist who is paired with tough homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, and Lorraine Toussaint also star.
The series debuted in September to favorable ratings and has continued to perform decently during in its freshman season. So far, Rosewood is averaging a 1.42 rating in the 18-49 demo, with around 4.956 million viewers.

Today, FOX also renewed Lucifer for a second season.

Rosewood is a fun spin on police and detective work. I want to see it for season 2, 3 and beyond. Fox keep bringing it back. My husband and I look forward to watching it. We are excited you are bringing it back!!!!

I really enjoy the humor and chemistry constantly stirring between Rosie and Villa. This show is definitely a keeper. Next season should focus on the sexual tension that’s even building between them two. Would love to see them working as a “Power Couple”.
