TV show description:
This show is set at the site of the 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico. The US Army finds the alien pods and takes them to a base for study. Four incubation pods are saved by an Air Force pilot who stashes them in a new ship hidden in a nearby rock formation. Some 40 years later, three aliens emerge and appear to be six-year-old humans with little memory of where they came from.
Two are found and adopted by a couple of lawyers named Evans. The aliens lead essentially normal lives as Max and Isabel Evans (Jason Behr and Katherine Heigl). The third young alien is found, placed in a home with an abusive foster father, and raised as Michael Guerin (Brendan Fehr). The three remain close and share secrets as their alien abilities begin to appear.
High school students Liz Parker (Shiri Appleby), Maria DeLuca (Majandra Delfino), and Alex Whitman (Colin Hanks), live in the small town of Roswell. Liz’s parents own the Crashdown Cafe, an alien-themed diner. At one point, Liz is accidentally shot while waitressing there. Max runs over and places his hands on her and heals her. A silver handprint where he touched her is visible for a time afterward. This event begins to raise the suspicions of some, particularly Sheriff Valenti (William Sadler).
In Biology class the next day, Liz gets a sample of Max’s saliva and finds his cells don’t look human. She confronts him and he admits the truth about the three being aliens. Soonafter a romance begins to form between Max and Liz, much to the chagrin of the Sheriff’s son, Kyle (Nick Wechsler).
Despite the fact that Max has sworn her to secrecy, Liz tells Maria, and eventually Alex is let in on the secret as well. They all work together to prevent the Sheriff from finding out the truth and alerting the FBI. Michael and Maria develop a romantic relationship, as do Isabel and geeky Alex.
As the series progresses, the friends discover the fourth alien from the pods, Tess Harding (Emile de Ravin). They also begin to discover the aliens’ destiny as Government and alien forces begin to close in.
Developed, produced, and co-written by Jason Katims, this sci-fi show is based on the Roswell High book series for young adults. Melinda Metz and Laura J. Burns, the writer and editor of the book series, are staff writers for the television series.

I love Roswell!!!!!Is a wonderful show I love Syfy. There are not enough shows like this one!!!!!!
I was 5 Years old when the real Roswell happened. Never the less I enjoyed the show. The kids were great actors. You could watch them growing up on the show. You can’t keep them in High School for 10 years.

Just finished Roswell and I fell in love! I’m left with disappointment though. I thought they would of least made a fourth season. For being an older show and a great one at that.. I’m surprised that it only had 2 1/2 star rating. Please of please bring Roswell back!! Stop the rest of us Roswell fans from wondering about what could of happend. I absolutely fell in love with this show!! I’ve watched this show before.. Maybe 3 years ago, but never finished it.. I knew there was only 3 seasons. I just didnt want to finish it and… Read more »
I found this show on Netflix a decade after it was rudely dumped from production. The last episode had me thinking it would have been a great start for a fourth season. Indeed, after reviewing much of the last six episodes, it looks like the writers were changing Micheal’s charactor to want to help other, giving Liz a great way to get them involved in other people’s problems and setting Max out on that very mission that would have become a series like The Incredible Hulk, Starman, Highway to Heaven or that other show Micheal Landon did the pilot for… Read more »
2014*should bring the serious back, to Tv wondering what happen to Max son and his parent after they all left Rockwell and Isabella husband?
need bring roswell back to tv with new shows please
I,m long time fan the tv series roswell ,like to many other roswell fan, we will love to see, the roswell movie…. PLEASE do the roswell movie.
I thinke the networks are really missing the boat if they have no plans of bringing the Roswell series back. With all the 2012 end of the world hype, you would think they would be frothing at the mouth to get on the band wagon if only for commercial purposes. The series in itself was great and kept your interest, and now it would probably have twice the viewership with deluge of UFO sightings around the globe and the “BUZZ” being generated from various conspiracy theories and government coverups. “BRING ROSWELL BACK”
please oh please bring rosewell back who ever didnt want it back on should be ashamed of them selves. i so much enjoyed the show i wanted to know what happen after they all left after leaving rosewell. max and liz what happens to them and mike and maria and isabelle and even kyle. i mean come on you cant just leave your tv viewers hanging like that. that is so wrong so please bring it back. i would love to see a reunion of the family to see if isabelle and jesse get to get back together and the… Read more »
