The doctor is out. USA Network has decided to cancel their Rush TV show after one season of 10 episodes.
Rush revolves around a talented and handsome physician (Tom Ellis) who had it all — but then lost it in one fateful night. Six years later, he’s a private doctor who treats less-than-squeaky-clean clientele in Los Angeles. The rest of the cast includes Harry Hamlin, Larenz Tate, Odette Annable, and Sarah Habel.
Debuting mid-July, the first episode of Rush attracted 1.7 million viewers with a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Not a very good start. The numbers for later episodes went up and down and the season averaged 1.65 million with a 0.4 in the demo.
Satisfaction, another new drama, had very similar ratings and either show could have been cancelled or renewed. USA ultimately chose to drop Rush and renew Satisfaction. The defacto series finale aired on September 18th.

What were those idiots at USA thinking? Rush was a very good show. Very different from the ordinary run of the mill drama. This series had me hooked. Please bring it back.

I can’t believe they renewed satisfaction instead of rush. I loved rush…such a unique story line and fast paced. Awesome show. Please bring it back…keep that ****** show Satisfaction off the air. It’s nothing but a story about adultery….creepy.

RUSH IS ONE OF THE FEW SHOW THAT COULD COMPETE WITH SCANDEL. IT WAS INTENSE EVERY WEEK. BRING IT BACK.

OMG I just finished watching 1st season and I love it. They shouldn’t cancel the show especially because the story didn’t finish. I really want to know what happens to Rush and Manny. :'(
USA continues to make one poor decision after the other. Dump satisfaction, bring back Rush, and while you are at it, bring back common law.

RUSH……was a great show. One of our favorite. Satisfaction is just plain crude and we hate it. Can’t believe you chose to keep that sick.joke on. You don’t bring Rush back…… Do you need.room for yet another reality shows????. Don’t you guys think wh have enough of that crap? Take some of it off and.give us back.RUSH..!!!!
