Sabrina the Teenage Witch is not returning to the big screen. The ABC series aired for seven seasons before it ended, and in recent weeks rumors of a reboot have been circulating.
The rumors began after Melissa Joan Hart made an appearance on the Fab Life. When the actress mentioned she was headed to a meeting at Netflix later that afternoon, fans of the series began to wonder if a meeting at Netflix meant a revival was in the works. The digital service has released a Full House revival and a Gilmore Girls and One Day at a Time revivals in the works.
There is not a Sabrina: The Teenage Witch revival in development right now. Digital Spy shared Hart’s comments about the rumors. She said:
“There’s no reboot – just so you know. That’s all rumors. There’s nothing going on. I do think there will be a lot of people interested in doing it should something come about. There’s tons of politics involved in this. No one has taken the approach to go ahead and do it right now.”
However, the actress is not saying to a reboot completely. She thinks there would be a lot of interest in it if it did happen. For now, fans will have to wait.
