The second season of the Salem TV show on WGN America saw a big drop in the ratings but it still came back for a third season. Will the numbers continue to fall or, will they rise? Will Salem be renewed for a fourth season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Set in the 17th century, Salem revolves around the Salem witch trials in colonial Massachusetts. A powerful witch named Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) controls the trials by fueling Puritan hysteria as she works to begin the Grand Rite. Her plans are complicated when her long lost love — John Alden (Shane West) — returns to Salem. The cast also includes Seth Gabel, Ashley Madekwe, Tamzin Merchant, Elise Eberle, Iddo Goldberg, Joe Doyle, Oliver Bell, and Samuel Roukin.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Are you kidding me. I’ve watched all 3 seasons. Canceling one of my favorite shows is a HUGE disappointment. I’ve been waiting all year for season 4 to start up soon. Love the story line and the characters. Would really love a season 4 pretty please.
You NEED TO RENEW IT. Netflix or HULU need to pick this up. All the good shows get cancelled, yet we have shows like Kardashian’s on their 15th season..
They should put it on Netflix like how orange is the new black is done I’m a binge watcher and I like watching my shows all at once so I record them or wait for the whole season to be available and plan a day to sit and watch I was so hoping for a few more seasons of Salem I love the story line and the way the characters grew I’d like to know what happens next with Ann all high on power and what happens to the baby that’s not technically hers they could definitely play with that… Read more »
