What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Salvation stars Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance, Shazi Raja, and Ian Anthony Dale. This suspense thriller follows MIT graduate student Liam Cole (Rowe) and tech genius Darius Tanz (Cabrera). Because they don’t want to cause public panic, the two present Pentagon Press Secretary, Grace Barrows (Finnigan), with evidence that in six months, a huge asteroid will crash into the Earth. Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Harris Edwards (Dale) is running the D.O.D.’s top-secret operation to deflect the asteroid. At the same time, Darius is working with Jillian (Byers), a rookie science fiction writer, on a different approach to save humanity.

Salvation premiered with low ratings and they’ve gotten even worse. Unless CBS has made enough deals to cover a good amount of the costs for this series, I would be shocked if this series came back for a second season.Subscribe for free updates on any cancellation and renewal news.

This show is a brilliant mix of apocalyptic doom, political corruption and personal struggle, bravery and triumph. PLEASE do everything it takes to keep Salvation on the air. I LOVE it!
Rarely have I been as impressed as I have with the ensemble cast of Salvation. PLEASE renew for Season Two! The combination of the cast, excellent writing, superb production values, editing – for me it’s got everything to grab and keep my attention. I just wish CBS did it justice with better exposure and promotion.

Best show of the Summer. Should be renewed.
These shows are doomed to fail. All mystery shows do. They plod along with no end in sight and then end suddenly with the viewer angry and cheated. You would not buy a book with the last few pages missing.
I’m 69 and I like the characters. I would like to see how they resolve the problem and then see them all work together in the future. I say renew for st least another season.
Please bring it back. I know l am part of the problem because l hardly watch tv but the move to Amazon has helped. cancelling this show signifies why l hate getting caught up in new tv shows.

I really enjoy Salvation!! Please do not cancel it. There is so much potential especially if the 160 have to leave Earth. The cast does a great job. I really hope to see how it plays out. Really interesting story lines.

Love this show! Hope it returns but not sure how long we can wait for the asteroid to hit or not. Then what??
