CBS had been filling the Mondays at 9pm timeslot with sitcoms for years and years. Now, they’re trying a new drama — Scorpion. Will this change be a ratings success? Will the show be renewed for a second season? Will it be cancelled? Stay tuned.
Based on real-life events, Scorpion revolves around computer expert Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. They’re this country’s last line of defense against complex, high-tech threats. The series also stars Katharine McPhee, Robert Patrick, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, and Ari Stidham.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
1/12 update: Scorpion and two other shows have been renewed for a second season by CBS.
Final season averages: 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 10.96 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Scorpion TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Don’t watch much TV but love Scorpion and hope it is renewed.
Not a big ABC fan but adding Scorpion to NCIS has me spending far more time on this station. And on demand to catch up when I miss one. Might have to reevaluate my view of ABC.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy Scorpion. Please bring it back for several more seasons.
both my self and my husband look forward to watching this show.i am 6o’s and he is 70’s. this is a interesting show.
I love this show! I’ve gotten my family hooked on the show as well. Definitely want there to be a season 2!
Love the show. Characters are building. Appeals to the articulate but heartfelt. Tough time period when against the Voice and DWTS, but I turn away from those for this program. Well acted.
This show is too smart and too original to let it go. Please bring it back for Season 2.
I really love this show because my grandson love science and a lot like them, also helps me to understand him better. He just turned 8 years old and a A student. He already saying he’s going to be a scientist when he grow up.
greatly enjoyed this show! looked forward to every episode. wished the schedule was more consistent. sometimes couldn’t tell when it will air next. resorted to watching online.
LOVE this TV show. Hope it stays on for several seasons. Scorpion and Big Bang Theory are the only reason I watch CBS.
Yes bring it back for another season. I will be looking forward to it.
Scorpion is edgy, and has heart. Worth keeping for sure. The cast works well together.
Please keep Scorpion on, we love it and it is one of the better shows on. I am so tired of all the reality shows. This is a breath of fresh air.
Great show, great family ties and teamwork from a very unlikely group of misfits. This shows deserves a third season!!
This is one of a few shows I really like! Please keep it going! It’s a cool show! I sometimes “marathon” watch the first season, until season 2.
