Netflix has some new company. Deadline reports Grimm star Russell Hornsby, Raul Castillo, and Zackary Momoh have been cast in the streaming service’s upcoming series Seven Seconds.
From The Killing creator Veena Sud, the drama centers on the tensions between “African American citizens and Caucasian cops in Jersey City, where a teenage African American boy is critically injured by a cop.”
From Deadline:
Hornsby will play Isaiah Butler, a devout man who is shaken to his core by the incident. Momoh will portray Seth Butler, Isaiah’s brother who comes home from a tour in Afghanistan just in time to support the family. Castillo is Felix Osorio, a cop working on the Narcotics squad in Jersey City.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of The Killing? Will you watch Seven Seconds?
I am waiting to see it.
Russell Hornsby is one of my favorite actors. I loved and enjoyed his acting as Hank Griffin in Grimm. I will definitely watch Seven Seconds.
I will watch it because David Lyons is in it. When is it going to be on? It sounds interesting too.
David Lyons is “the” man! I’m only watching this because he is in it also. I also have the same question; When will it be on Netflix? I know that filming is ongoing and should be completed in May of this year.
