The Siren TV series has been sunk by Freeform. The cable channel has cancelled the mermaid drama series so, there won’t be a fourth season.
Siren stars Eline Powell, Alex Roe, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ian Verdun and Rena Owen. The TV show is set in the small fishing village of Bristol Cove which is known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the legend proves to be true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. In season three, Ben’s shocking decision to let the reporter die has ripple effects in his relationship with Maddie and Ryn. Meanwhile, a dangerous, sophisticated new mermaid arrives in Bristol Cove, challenging Ryn’s leadership and igniting an epic undersea battle between rival tribes. All of this is complicated by the fact that Ryn’s baby, now being carried by a surrogate, must be protected at all costs.
The third season of Siren averaged a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 408,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 26% in the demo and down by 14% in viewership.
While the show’s ratings have dropped quite a bit since the first season, Siren has remained one of Freeform’s highest-rated series. The de facto series finale, titled “The Toll of the Sea”, aired May 28th.

So sad to hear siren is cancelled! It was one of few shows I actually watched. Come on Netflix or Amazon Prime and pick up this gem for a season 4!

Please bring siren show back. This doesn’t make any since. It was a amazing show didn’t have any violence. It had alot of action. I love it. Please bring the show back I’m begging you please.

I binge watched this show recently and I was so excited for the next season especially with the cliff hanger it left on. I feel like this often happens with shows I enjoy, but last time I was THIS disappointed was when they cancelled Hindsight on VH1. I’m not sure if this was based on a book but if not, I hope somebody makes a book series and carries the story a little further.
As always, you invest time in a show you really really like and then it gets cancelled. They don’t bother to give time to a show. With so many programs and channels sometimes you can’t get to everything you want to view. Then a show that’s different comes along and they take it off, and on top of that your left hanging without knowing what the series finale would have been like. They leave other junk on and cancel the better shows. I’m soooo sick of it
This is one of few shows that I can even get my wife to sit down and see. For her tv is just background noise for all her other activities, but this she would actually look forward to seeing. This becomes the third show (cancelled) that had a message of hope for a better future. It was bold enough to show the dark sides, while trying to focus on the better aspects of what we hope to become (we’re not there!). It’s a shame! Im a big fan of the show. Siren is one of the best shows ive seen in a while. Please dont stop the show. The cast of the show are all awesome and bring realness to the story. I am so sad by this news and hope and pray that y’all will not stop the show. #DON’T STOPDASHOWSIREN#
My husband and I have followed Siren since season 1 and loved every minute. Of course the one thing that my husband and I love to watch, you have to cancel. We normally had to set our DVR to record it as our schedules did not allow us to watch it live. Please please please bring it back. We are not happy!
I loved the Sirens show! I am so sad that it has been cancelled! They really left us hanging too! There are so many things left unanswered! I’m very unhappy with Freeform!
I have followed Siren since season 1 and loved every minute. My family and I named Friday’s as Siren day. Of course the one thing that we love, you have to cancel. Have you thought that some people set their DVR to record it when they can’t see it live on freeform which can lead to lower watch ratings??? Please please please bring it back. Even put it on netflix or something. We are not happy!
I really enjoyed watching this show, I don’t have Freeform therefore was watching it on Hulu! I’m really bummed they cancelled it! And won’t get to watch anymore seasons. Hopefully another network picked it up!
