Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

How in the hell can you cancel this show and end it like that. This is insane, it’s the best show on the History Channel.

What the hell is History Channel is thinking? SIX is a damn good show that my wife and I can enjoy together. There are very few shows that we like to watch together. Look at all this support of a Great show. I’m truly pissed I read of its cancellation. I’ve never been cliffhung like that. There’s so much more to share on this series. Atleast, atleast one more season to put a better close to this Grade A show. Please…
This show is amazing and has the raw elements of entertainment as well respect for the subject/premise of its series. So many useless things on air nowadays and this is one of the only reasons I enjoy satellite/cable television. History is another flop (just like TNT with ‘Southland’) if they do follow up with this terrible decision!
Please please bring this back! So much left unsaid. I can’t stop thinking about it. This was a great show with a great cast and a great story line. There is so much crap on tv and this shouldn’t of been canceled.
I agree with all the comments I’ve just read. Can’t believe that a quality show like SIX gets cancelled and other shows that dwell on stupidity continue to thrive. There’s very little out there for intelligent viewers. I’m disappointed in Hustory. Very!!!
Here’s one more voice in protest of the cancellation of “SIX.” Since the History Channel dropped the “Channel,” along with most of its documentaries and educational programs, “SIX” was one of the few reasons I had for watching “History.” Other than “American Pickers,” I couldn’t care less about the rest of History’s current programming.
Go for another season!!!!!! Do the Seals go back after Micheal? So many unanswered questions to leave us hanging!! Please at least do a season 3 finale
Please bring this show back!!!! With all the other stupid shows on these days this is actually a show my husband and I both looked forward to watching each week. I think it is important for people to see the real struggles our soldiers face not only out on the field, but when they get back home as well. Please reconsider and film season 3!
PLEASE SAY IT ISN’T SO! If nothing else, do a season 3 just to wrap the stories! What happened when Bear found out that Lina had been killed? How did Jackie handle killing Chloe? What about Buddha? What about Coulder? Did his migraine kill him?COME ON! PLEASE! DON’T LEAVE US HANGING!
Wtf? All these other stupid shows are still on t.v. Every single time… tyrant = cancelled. South land = cancelled underground = cancelled But let yet another dumb reality tv show, some weird shiz or some gay journey come on and they will get like 20 seasons . You mean to tell me that 18 yr olds to even 30 yr olds are watching freaking pawn stars or American pickers? Give me a break. U got his all the way wrong history!
This is ridiculous!! Did they take into account who is streaming their episodes? Hits online? Etc? Every time a good show comes on with no additional fluff or push to stay relevant with media topics they get cancelled. This show was great and didn’t need to push any subliminals! It was the Real deal. Felt like I had a better understanding of what some of our military goes through. It’s a damn shame. You got all these other terrible shows on air.
Love this show. I hope they bring it back for a third season.

I think its huge mistake cancel this series. When rick leaves the walking dead a huge gap Will!! Open Up.Very short sighted. History A&E ….and yes You AMC wise up.
