Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

Really really disappointed to hear that they’re won’t be a season 3! I absolutely loved both seasons 1 and 2 and am gutted there won’t be a 3rd!

Extremely sad to conclude such an emotional, serious, yet intriguing series like that. History channel I’m very disappointed. Maybe just add on two more episodes and conclude it better than that. Such an outstanding series ends with my stomach hurting. Thanks…
I just finished Season 2, I can’t believe it won’t be renewed. So disappointed. And with that ending!!
Highly displeased with the cancellation decision! Great series and was hoping for another great season.
This was the best show I’ve seen in years! I can’t believe it’s been cancelled. Very realistic, superbly written, and it played with my emotions more than any other show on television today. So disappointed.
Just finished season 2. Can’t believe we won’t, at minimum, get some conclusion to the story… And really wish it had another season. Thought it was a great show. Very disappointed.
Very disappointed that it was cancelled. At minimum, would have liked to have seen some real conclusion to the story. But actually really liked the show. Hope someone picks it up.
this was a really good show, it really sucks that theyre canceling the show with the way the season ended.. at least release the show with more seasons on netflix or something, cuz that was one hell of an ending… not cool History, understandable, but not cool.
I really enjoyed this show and would have enjoyed watching another season or two. I’m sorry it was cancelled and will miss it.

That totally sucks. It was a great show. I think being on the station it was airing on has alot to do wit it. You put that show on fx it would totally blow up. SD to see it go.

Really disappointed to find out that Six has been cancelled. It was one of the better shows on cable and easily my favorite series. In fact, the show even inspired me to pursue becoming a SEAL… It’s unfortunate that the History Channel decided to sacrifice a show that embodies true patriotism and American heroism.
Why cancel it? It was an awesome show!!
SIX, is the only show I watch on the History channel!!! This show should be renewed and all cast members not killed off should also be renewed for season 3. Please bring this back or sell the rights and cast contracts to someone one who would continue the show.
