Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

Six is one of the best shows to date. Canceling is just the wrong decision. So look forward to watching every week. Bring the show back!

This show is absolutely amazing. They should keep it going and tie it up next season. Killing Nasri and finally live peacefully. On a serious note, this TV show is by far one of my favorite and as others have mention, they shouldn’t leave us hanging if they plan on stopping it there.

“SIX” had really gotten into it’s grove. One could feel all of the characters. If need be, alter the day and timeslot, and advertise and promote it better, but under no circumstances should it be canceled. The scene at the Ortiz home was an absolute masterpiece. It was impeccably written, acted, and directed…and Mazzy Star’s song, “Into Dust” was the perfect choice accompanying it as well. These companies who make shows that end up cancelling when the story is very clearly not finished, should have a responsibility to us viewers, if they do cancel then at the very least they should have to tie up any loose ends in a longer episode or film but to just leave us hangingnis not right, too many times this is happening it is getting to the point where you don’t want to watch a series because it will just be cancelled people need to hold these companies to account for this.
Why would you END a show like you did SIX and then cancel!!! I was sobbing at the end this season and was anxious to see how the team handled this new killing of bears wife!!! Ughhh I hate you people!!! ALL the ‘military ‘ shows have been canceled and we’re left with CRAP like MOM and BIG BANG THEORY!! SERIOUSLY???? BRING IT BACK!!
