What do you think? Have you been watching season two of the Six TV series? If it were up to you, would Six have been cancelled or renewed for season three on History?
EVERY SHOW I WATCH, LIKE CRIMINAL MINDS, SEAL TEAM AND ESPECIALLY SIX!!! THE FIRST SEASON OF SIX WAS AWESOME, COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT..THEN I SEEN THAT SEASON 2 OF SIX WAS OUT ON DVD I HAD TO BUY IT!! IMMEDIATELY I WAS ONCE AGAIN ADDICTED TO THE SHOW SIX..COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF IT!! THEN I FIND OUT THAT THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE A 3RD. SEASON, I WAS UPSET..U JUST CAN’T LEAVE THE END OF SEASON 2 LIKE THAT, AND NOT HAVE A SEASON 3..I PERSONLY THINK THAT JUST WHEN SHOWS LIKE SIX GETS SO GOOD, THEY DECIDE… Read more »
I love this show. I think History channel made a huge mistake. Between streaming service and DVR’s and On Demand people watch their favorite shows when they can and may not tune in at the time the show airs. I also think this show paid some sort of respect and appreciation to our service members because they actually worked with them to make the show more real. I think it was some sort of slap in the face to them and fans of the show when History cancelled this show.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH U!! IT’S LIKE WHEN THEY DECIDE TO FINALLY MAKE A SHOW ABOUT THE MILITARY, THEY QUICKLY AND STUPIDITY DECIDE NOT TO GO FURTHER!! THAT SHOW WAS THE BEST!! THEN THEY END SEASON 2 LIKE THAT, WAS MESSED UP!! THERE ARE A LOT OF HISTORY SHOWS, I BELIEVE ARE STUPID AND BORING, BUT THEY KEEP THOSE GOING!! BUT WHEN IT COMES TO OUR HERO’S, THEY STOP IT!! MY BELIEF IS, DON’T START SOMETHING U CAN’T FINISH!! ESPECIALLY ABOUT OUR HEROS..THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER ENDED SEASON 2 OF “SIX” LIKE THAT!! THE ENDING OF SEASON 2 MADE ME… Read more »
Very bad call. I loved this
How could they cancel it? I just watched both seasons on Hulu. There was no advertising for this show, this why people don’t show loyalty to tv channels because they don’t care about the viewers. Bad call History Channel
Wow I can’t believe six was cancelled. How do you cancel a show with an ending on season 2 with the death of the wife of a main character. This is what is wrong with television and bogus ratings. This show was amazing I enjoyed every episode. Sometimes even though the ratings don’t look what you think they should it wasn’t advertised properly. I am former navy and I like these shows. Do yourself a favor advertise a season 3 and see what response you get then decide whether to cancel or continue
It never fails, why oh why do the good shows always get canceled?????!!!!!!!
Very very disappointing that Six has been cancelled.
Didn’t feel like it was advertised as well as other shows!
Very disappointed Six is cancelled the best military show out there. More real also than any other one.
And just like that yet another fantastic series cancelled due to low ratings, however, in reality it could actually have been due to the almost non-existent advertising and marketing HISTORY invested into the show. I know that definitely was the case for me, had it not been for my DVR already being programmed to record this series I would have never even known the second season aired and based on the numbers, it might be said the same for others. Season one premiered at a 0.48 and closed with an 0.40 average for the season, where as season two premiered… Read more »
Steven Gray. I feel the same as everyone else. This to me is a really good show. I watched since day 1, and have become very interested an involved in watching it. My whole family loves this show. I don’t see how you can end a season with this type of experiences happening with the actors an characters. There’s not many shows I watch and SIX was definitely one of them. You need to advertise the show more if you want better ratings. No one cares about all the dumb sitcoms with all the fake canned laughter. Bring this show… Read more »
Cannot believe History have cancelled Six. It’s the only program I insist on watching all week. Bring it back. And advertise it more so people know it’s on.
My husband and I have been anxiously awaiting the new season of SIX and I just now learned of it being cancelled – how very sad that the good shows get cancelled and the stupid ones get renewed. I agree with a comment below about the lack of advertising of this show – I only heard of it from a coworker and immediately it became one of our favorite shows. Maybe it can re renewed – it’s not too late. PLEASE reconsider and get the word out this time !
Really sad to hear it’s cancelled. My wife and I waited patiently to see the follow up of the last show and now we know there will not be another season is very disappointing. This happens too often, we will not watch any of your new shows because we cannot depend on you to finish up.
Disappointed to learn the show was cancelled; I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and seeing what would happen next. Perhaps the History channel should have found a better way to market the show … I never saw any ads outside History. You end season two with Bear’s wife getting killed by a convert and terrorist while visiting his team member’s house, Hummed it was cancelled. Makes me wonder if the marketing team knew what they were doing? Oh well … another good show gone,
I agree with an earlier comment. The show needs better marketing. I also just happened upon an episode during the middle of season one. I enjoyed it so much that I quickly found the earlier episodes to catch up. I do like Six better than the other military dramas that are currently showing and am saddened by its cancellation. Here’s to hoping someone will change their mind!
