Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

I just came across this series, SIX, and I have binge watched the entire first and second series. My vote is to retool and make the next season…It was a fantastic show for me!

I miss the show and would def watch a season 3. I think it was the most realistic, well acted show in the genre.
Six is one of the best series out there… History should quit the “rating & views lies”… They have their own personal reason for canceling it, of which they don’t want us to know

Please bring back SIX season 3 – I love this show! my husband is a military brat and he loves the show as well. you just can’t leave us hanging – it focuses on the families and well as the brotherhood!
Seriously! I just watched the first and second seasons of Seal Team Six, I can not believe you would not consider bringing this show back on! The story was so great and I think the story should at least end with closure of some kind, it was just getting sooooo good! Please reconsider with Hulu and Netflex and Prime there are more ways people are watching these shows, Please bring this show back on!
Bring back six. Military shows can be most profitable due to never ending missions. Why producers don’t get it?
Seriously? Cancelled? I guess just follow the money. Why ratings dropped in the second season so dramatically, I don’t know. Perhaps the tempo and rhythm of the script slowed down too much? It should be analyzed, fix whatever you find because this is a winner with loyal followers like me. Thank you.
I agree! Loved this show and was waiting to let the Characters develop…the show had so much talent and opportunity to expand which would envelop the viewers. Sad that the TV industry doesn’t have the trust and devotion to allow a series to be able to fully mature. As viewers, we are not idiots, we like a series to draw us in and captivate us into the lives and complexities of the characters. That can’t be done in 1 season! Duh….
I love this show and have been waiting for its return. Please don’t cancel. I think it would have better views if it was on a local network the show is beyond excellent.
I think it was aHUGE mistake canceling Six!!!!!! As a former military man, I thought the show was completely on the mark. The actors were very belevable . People die in there line of work that they were betraying, and they didn’t forget that. The powers that be just plain screwed up.
Bring back Six atleast for another season. Where are these ratings coming from? I thought the show was awesome and those who loved it deserve a better ending than that (leaving us wondering what would happen next) after the ending of season 2.

AT least finish the story line! This cancellation with out resolution is not Nice to Viewers! We need to see the search ended and the story line resolved.
Sad so many people I knew love Six I do no know how could sch a great show be cancel I believe thee so call ratings are all made up.
Why cancel Six ? I agree when someone said that there is no account for DVR’s and on demand. This is an awesome show that appeals not only to men but also to women. I feel that it gives honor to our military and to their families. I think if the History channel would have aired that they were taking a poll more people would have responded with a push to continue Six. I think everyone assumed this would go on – as it should! I hate that the best series are cancelled based on just ratings – I am sure an opinion poll would support the continuation of Six for many seasons.
I agree 100 Perrcent I think is just opinion of very few with some kind of pull sad.
