The fate of Sleepy Hollow is no longer uncertain. Today, it was revealed that FOX has cancelled the TV show so there won’t be a fifth season.
The supernatural drama stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane, a Revolutionary War patriot who wakes up more than 200 years after his death. The cast also includes Janina Gavankar, Lyndie Greenwood, Jerry MacKinnon, Rachel Melvin, Oona Yaffe, Jeremy Davies, and John Noble.
The FOX show’s cancellation doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Sleepy Hollow has struggled for a few seasons now and last season, the series alienated many fans by killing off a main character. Season four saw the consequences of that decision in its very low ratings. The fourth season, which ended in March, averaged a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 1.92 million viewers, making it FOX’s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.

I’m a sleepy hollow fan from Norway and they really should have a fifth season to rapp things up. Not end it with a cliffhanger, please hear what the people are telling you FOX bring one last season.
actually there is a posibility for sleepy hollow to renued for season 5 6 and 7 but there is only a possibility to change the canceletion we will have the result 0n 12 augoust
I love sleepy hollow, but I really missed the character Abby. I think the show went a little down hill when she was killed off, however, since the show is about the supernatural, she could have easily been brought back and I’m pretty sure the ratings would have picked back up. Bad choice to kill her off.
They need to come out with at least one more season. They just left too much up in the air. Plus I’ve been saying Headless needs to have a moment for seasons now. I was hoping he would be a season’s big bad… or at least switch sides. Please come back, Sleepy Hollow.
My husband and I love sleepy hollow. They should at least have a final season. Please bring them back.
I think its a shame Sleepy Hollow is cancelled. I thought it was much better this season and had a chance of coming up in the ratings. I’m really sad about it. Loved the show!
At least some sort of wrap up. As much as I liked Abby this new line of story telling is great.

I love the show ! I think the biggest mistake was getting rid of Abby. There was a real chemistry between Ichabod and Abby. She’s not really dead, so bring her back !

I love Sleepy Hollow. Way better than i expected after the loss of a main character season 4 was brilliant. C’mon FOX please dont cancel Sleepy Hollow. Definitely need another season.
Keep switching the day the show airs and then they get cancelled because ratings are down! Really FOX??? Does your network even consider the fans ? I am thinking they do not because it feels like they get bored or maybe they’re excited about something else or for whatever reason that has nothing to do with the fans, because the shows day change then ratings are down and then cancelled!
I thought season 4 was going to fail with a main character gone but FOX you pulled it out of the bag with the replacements s4 was loads better than expected and should continue come fox keep it going
Please don’t cancel this show we keep saying we want to watch it every season tis happens. We keep sending messages and you bring it back. It’s great acting and exciting adventures, and the history parts are good.

I absolutely LOVED this show! It seems that every time there is a good show on it ends up getting cancelled—yet all the reality shows keep coming back! Grrrrr! Get rid of the reality shows and keep the good dramas!
Please don’t cancel Sleepy Hollow ! There aren’t that many good shows to watch but I loved this show . Give it another season , give it a chance .
