Get ready to discover more of what Italy has to offer with Stanley Tucci. CNN has renewed the actor’s travel series, Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy, for a second season. The series premiered earlier this month on the cable channel.
CNN revealed more about what is ahead on the series in a press release.
“At a time when almost everyone wishes they could travel, CNN’s newest Original Series Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy debuted to widespread critical acclaim earlier this month and has been enthusiastically received by viewers.
Today the network announced the series, which chronicles Tucci’s travels across Italy, will be picked up for a second season in 2022. Next season, Tucci will explore the culinary delights and cultures of several new regions throughout Italy, one of the world’s most fascinating and beautiful countries.”

I love Italy & was supposed to go in April 2021 but trip cancelled so I am living vicariously thru this series. I have been to all of the regions he has visited so far & adore all of them. Please keep series going!
Stanley Tucci’s Searching For Italy is one of the best! Having travelled to Italy and enjoying the countryside, fabulous food and wonderful wine this series brings back wonderful memories. I hope all of Italy recovers from Covid. Thank you Me. Tucci.
OH my I love this series! I love the way the history of the region are woven into the story of the food. I yearn to go back and this program makes my hopes to get back there even greater. I adore Stanley Tucci and he is fantastic in this series. Bravo!

Stanley Tucci serie about Italy is everything but what Italy is about, which is not just about pasta or pizza ! All the dishes he has shown so far are horribly unhealthy, full of fat, high cholesterol, and greasy. Italians eat other dishes way more healthier than that! Stanley Tucci does not seem to connect deeply with the people he meets, just using them as a necessary decor for his show. Love it! I’m of Italian heritage on both sides too. I want to visit Italy now that we are retired but not during this pandemic. In the meanwhile I am enjoying seeing Italy with sweet Staley Tucci and learning about the culture and food of the different regions.
