The story of the young “star-crossed” lovers is coming to a close. The CW has cancelled Star-Crossed after one season of 13 episodes.
Star-Crossed revolves around a pair of teens — one human (Aimee Teegarden) and one alien (Matt Lanter) — who fall in love and struggle to overcome the discrimination and distrust around them. The rest of the cast includes Grey Damon, Natalie Hall, Malese Jow, Titus Makin Jr., Chelsea Gilligan, Brina Palencia, and Greg Finley.
The series debuted as a mid-season replacement and never took hold in the ratings. The premiere drew a lackluster 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo with 1.28 million viewers. Subsequent episodes performed even worse, making Star-Crossed one of the network’s lowest-rated shows.
There are just 13 episodes in the season and the finale, titled “Passion Lends Them Power,” will air next Monday night.

i love this show and i think it so stupid they already cancelled it. give it a chance or end it in a better way other than everyone dying and war ships coming. WTF.
They should at least give it one more episode to try and end things a little more nicely.

C’mon CW! Even if you won’t renew it for 13 episodes, just give it one ore maybe two episodes to end things.
This ending is just way too open.
There is a petition on Change.org for CW to bring back the show. If people watch it enough on HULU and online, plus tweet and other social networks about it they may reconsider. It didn’t get enough promotion and the night it was on was terrible. I know there is a following for this show. Let’s show them that we want it back. It is all about the numbers.

It was an amazing show and you can’t just leave the viewer with that ending . We need to see what happen to them . Please bring back the show. I was so addicted to this show.

This is one of my favorite tv shows. I wonder if they rate the people who dont use cable. I watch all the tv shows online through hulu. It really seems unfair to cancel the show without viewing all the ratings. They should allow the viewers to vote.
Why do all the shows i get to love have to be cancelled considering i watched this show from episode one all the way through and just watched the last episode and then after watching it i came across this!? this show was alot better then any of the other ones this next work. Maybe ask people which show they would prefer instead of assuming, And most shows ratings start out crap but end up being pretty good! PLEASE GIVE IT ONE MORE SHOOT.
It caught me right from the start. Now the show is getting us involved with the back stories and allowing us to see what may be for the Atrians and humans together. I just want to continue to be able to see how this plays out. So many loose end… come on can we just get it back on? Im so tired of really liking a TV show and never knowing what happens to the characters in it. This show just seemed to have so many directions it could expand in.
I barely watch TV for this very reason. I find a show I like and they cancel it cause everyone else is warped brain dead in watching stupid stuff. Well not sure if there is anything on the CW now worth watching. Thanks alot CW you just lost a viewer.
