The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

No don’t I watch Star right after Empire faithfully since day one
Star is seriously great and I would love to see season four! This show is the only reason why I watch Fox. It’s the only reason why I signed up and pay for hulu. This show is truly amazing and I love all the actors in it! There’s no way you can get rid of it! And in all honesty, if you’re going to end this show, give us this last season (4) and tie everything up please!! You can’t possibly think it’s ok to leave it on a cliffhanger like this!

Noooo don’t take it off its a great show. I look forward to Wednesday night so I can see this show. Please reconsider bringing Star back. If Fox doesn’t want it try another network.

I love the show, I watch it right after empire. It been a ritual for me since season 1. Please don’t cancel. It is a true life struggle of girls trying to do better and learn that nothing in life is impossible. I’m 53 years old. And have 2 kids around there ages.
No!! Star cannot be taken off of television!. This show has inspired me to want to get my voice out in the world and I am a huge jude demorest fan..& this show really speaks out to people.
I am flabbergasted! I absolutely love Star. You can’t cancel a show in the middle of the storyline. I would have watched season 10, much less season 4! I can’t believe this. I am very sad to hear this news. Star was and is my favorite show!

I am very disappointed that star got canceled,that and empire are the two best shows that fox has . I cant believe you are just going to leave us hanging like that.
How are we going to find out about who took Star’s child? If Mrs. C sister is going to be ok, if angel is going to be ok? Are any of these questions going to be answered, I’m sorry why leave us on this cliff hanger it’s not fair, your not leaving Empire on cliff hanger why this show.
I really hope that another network picks up Star, I’ve really enjoyed watching this show!
