The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I’m really upset with how the show was ended. I love this show this was the talk of my job and face book. Why was it canceled it’s a very good show and I don’t really watch tv series, this is one of the reasons we get into it then it’s stopped. What Happened
Omg how can you leave star with a cliff hanger like that with all the shooting at the wedding and not knowing his gran had died you can’t leave it you have to make an ending it’s unfair to the viewer please bring series 4 back or finish an ending off at least
This is definitely some ********. Definitely can’t end the season like this. I got hooked after the first first couple of episodes. There’s so much up in the air like really. Especially the shooting at the wedding. Derick doesn’t even know his grandma is dead. There’s definitely revenge after all that. Make a season 4 this is bull.
