There’s some hope for Star fans. Co-creator Lee Daniels just announced there will be closure for the cancelled FOX TV show.
The music drama follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy.
Star may not be returning for a fourth season, but Lee Daniels says there will be a fitting end for the series. On social media, the FOX series co-creator announced there is “something” planned to close out the TV show:

I am stunned to hear the news that star has been canceled! That is one of my favorite shows along with Empire! Some other station needs to pick it up or Fox needs to wise up on what their customers want!!!
This show should NOT be canceled. Can’t Netflix pick it up . There are so many great actors and actresses in this show and a great story line. I cant believe it didn’t have enough viewers to keep it going, I think Fox is not being truthful about this. Then to leave the fans hanging like that, what the jell is wrong with Fox. I hope another network picks it up. It is one of my favorite shows as well as Empire.

Hope star comes back . I’ve watch all of them and loved everyone of them . you guys can’t leave the fans guess what would of happened nxt now we dont know . cant end it with drama . please reconsider comming back .

I have to admit I love both star and Empire, however the show became to racist and I have to say I saw this coming ratings dropped. Also know the writer wants to concentrate every second of the last season of Empire.. don’t really care how star ends as it turned me off .
It started out like a show of real hard time making music and went into racial stuff way to deep. Glad it’s over
I am devasted to hear that this show has been cano! It is certainly a show with a lot to offer. It provides inspiration to people and amazing music! The series also calls attention to political and racial issues, that seriously needs addressed. It is a beautiful show that shows cultural diversity come together as one, that’s something this country desperately needs. It is a shame to see it go.
The world is full of hate , tv doesn’t have to magnify this. I too loved this show being in the music business most of this was on que, however it started gearing off the music and on to racist material. Americans are tired of it! It had to go because he needs to focus on his last season of Empire! Tv is supposed to be entraining. It’s time to cancel all of these shows. I remember when they said All in the family, was racist …lol..give me a break !
Are you kidding me. Racist conversations happen everyday. It wasn’t just about that. It touched a lot of different issues and I hate to see it go. The show is a reflection of the times we live in. I am really bummed about the way it ended. No closure for us fans. If anything they should have canceled Empire. That story has run its course when Luscious got on the Plane and Cookie stayed that should have been the end of that story. Please type here to add a comment.
