I defy you, stars. Back in November, we reported that ABC was likely to change the title of Shondaland’s upcoming Still Star-Crossed TV show, starring Wade Briggs, Lashana Lynch, Sterling Sulieman, and Torrance Coombs. Inspired by Melinda Taub’s novel, the new project is a Romeo and Juliet sequel series.
Coombs, who played Sebastian “Bash” de Poitiers on The CW’s Reign (which was cancelled last week), plays Count Paris in the new show. He has been tweeting about it, referring to it as, “our as-yet-untitled Shondaland period drama.” He later added, “It’ll be on ABC some time in the new year. Possibly even with a different title. I’ll keep you guys posted.” Coombs also confirmed the first season will consist of seven episodes.
