Stranger Things‘ second season just dropped today, but what about season three? Recently, creators Matt and Ross Duffer spoke with Deadline about the future of the Netflix TV show.
Set in the 1980s, the supernatural drama follows the residents of a small Indiana town in the aftermath of a boy’s mysterious disappearance. The cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Cara Buono, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, Sean Astin, and Paul Reiser.
In the interview, Matt Duffer revealed the two do have an ending in mind for Stranger Things. Already, the Netflix series has been renewed for a third season:
We have an ending in mind, you know what I mean? We think we know where we want it to end basically, we’re not sure how long it’s going to take to get there. If a lot of people continue to watch the show that’s not reason enough to do another season. There has to be a narrative reason for it to exist. Mostly we have to be excited about it and actors and everyone involved who give so much of their time over the show have to be excited about it.”
Earlier, the Duffers said there are four seasons planned for Stranger Things. But will that be the end?
What do you think? Are you a fan of Stranger Things? How many seasons do you want?
It the best series in a long time its up there with walking dead game of Thrones You must do more series there’s so much do with stranger things amazing acting from everyone not a weak performance from anyone.from directors produces writers everyone involved perfect
Except unlike TWD, the Duffer brothers have an end goal in mind and thankfully won’t needlessly drag this out until people turn off it.
even better than season one. Questions answered, characters fleshed out, stranger things indeed!
