Though the show’s ratings have seen some serious declines, CBS has decided to order seven more installments of their new Monday night drama, Supergirl. This will bring the first season tally to 20 episodes.

What do you think? Are you glad that CBS has ordered more Supergirl episodes? Do you think it will be cancelled in May or renewed for a second season?
Started off slow but I Like it, I’ve seen almost every episode. Keep them coming.
“Supergirl” is getting what is recognized as the “bare minimum” of a full season – 20 episodes – for its season 1. A couple of factors: “Supergirl” launched during the last week of October; “Thursday Night Football”; The reduction of CBS’s comedy schedule. I think they’ll have Supergirl”‘s season finish in March so that comedies can take over its slot afterwards. The network probably wasn’t willing to make room on their schedule for 22 episodes of “Supergirl”, or even 21, so they decided on 20.
I like the show it was slow at the start but the writing has got better. Every episode keep getting better. Hope you keep it going.
I like the show keeps getting better with each episode.
So glad we’ll get to see a full season, it’s one of the few shows I can watch with my daughters. We look forward to it every week.
Couldn’t make it through one episode of Supergirl. Lame all around, script, acting, premise. I’ve better things to do with my life than watch dumb shows.
I’m so happy that CBS extended Supergirl for 7 more shows this season that just mean that CBS has faith in their new show it is an excellent show I love it or brother loves it and my kids love it my grandkids love it this show that goes to all the ages and it is an excellent show now it’s time for CBS just renew it for another season also.
I would also like to add that I canceled blind spot, couldn’t take all the background drumping, you’re in serious danger, music. Also cancelled long time show once upon a time, they jumped the shark. Also canceled scorpion, they were making up words to say!
I would also like to add that I was on the fence with scandal. The fast-talking was just getting to me, but we watched one more episode and decided to keep on going with it. It is also at the point of jumping the shark.
After 3 episodes I cancelled the series. Just made no sense whatsoever. I agree with previous poster, karen.
Of course it doesn’t make sense ! A Story about an extraterrestrial “goody two shoes” (not pejorative) wrangling wayward galactic misfits … It’s not supposed to make sense, it’s supposed to “ENTERTAIN” if you are not entertained you were right to stop watching …maybe you should take in a “good” reality show that “makes sense” . My opinion, thanks …
I’ll counter that, by saying “The Walking Dead”. Makes no sense, it will never happen, but way worth watching opposed to Supergirl.
But Supergirl is worth watching and most things make sense within the premise of the show. They make as much sense as The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, and the upcoming Batman vs Superman.
I’m on the fence. I haven’t watched since the first episode. I thought the original story line was ridiculous. She deals with alien criminals, and her cousin (Superman) doesn’t show up at all? Come on. And they should quash the so called romance with Jimmy Olsen. Why is he even there?
Why does Superman need to show up? What can he do that Supergirl can’t do on her own?
The show is terrible. The Cat character is ridiculous. The entire show must be written by feminazis. All of the women are “amazing” and the male characters are nothing but eye candy. Diversity seems to be their main objective instead of entertaining the masses.
Couldn’t agree more, that’s why I quit after 3 episodes. Also, I finally gave up on Scandal, it finally jumped the Shark !
Also I have no problem with the Lucy Lane and James Olsen romance. I think they look kind of cute together and it gives Supergirl another woman friend.
