There’s some scandal stirring up at the swamp. It’s been reported that several castmembers of the History Channel’s reality series Swamp People were cut from season seven, which is currently in production.
Now, fans of the show are taking the series’ social media accounts to protest the changes.
Swamp People, which premiered in 2010, follows a group of Louisiana natives who hunt alligators in the Atchafalaya Swamp.
Back in August, castmembers Jeromy Pruitt, David LaDart, and Queen Gator Liz announced on their respective Facebook pages they would not be returning for season seven of the History Channel series.
Fans have expressed disappointment in reaction to the cast cuts, with some saying they will no longer watch the series. On the series’ official Facebook page, one fan commented, “Without Bruce, Ron, Willie, Junior and Liz the new season holds no interest.”
No word yet on when season seven will premiere.

Please bring back the people you took off. Also, please renew this show. This is my favorite of all the shows on History Channel. This show is like family.
Why would the new production company make casting changes to a show when there was no problems, and the fans enjoyed watching. Liz and her family, David and Jeromy as well as Willie and his family, was a joy to watch. I hate when the fans always get the take it or leave it attitude with the Big Businesses.
Not happy with cast members removed need them all to keep show good an excellent show shows a way of life most of us would not be able to do need to have Liz,Junior,Jeremy and David back as well as Troy and family ….. This is a good show Wasn’t broke don’t fix it thank you.

A series finale should reflect all those cast members who made the series successful. If you start cutting cast members then why have a series finale? Ask yourselves when you pick and choose which cast members are going to participate in your series finale and then are they the only ones who were in the whole series then why have other cast members? You must take in account that fans are attached to all cast members not just one or two. I hope you reconsider and involve all cast members to your series finale.
Yes, we will watch swamp people. The only thing I want an 8th season. I really like Willie and Junior, Bruce and Ron, but we will still watch.
I absolutely love Liz and would like to see more of her and her family. She is as popular to me as Troy and his family. I absolutely love this show but it is mostly because I have grown to love the families involved. Don’t mess with a good thing.

No, I am not supported of this show being cancelled and not supportive of reducing the cast. One thing g that I am quite sure of is that any production you televise other than the last season of Swamp People, will definitely never be viewed myself or anyone I.know. You certainly owe it to absolutely everyone to Truthfully tell us why you have made these decisions.
Will no longer watch the history channel.Our family watched Swamp People. So many other shows are boring. Big mistake

They keep sister wife’s on TV which has no education value but cancel good show like swamp people let the audience decide if swamp people should be cancelled, leave show no good on air but cancel good one.
