Taylor Kitsch and Michael Shannon are headed to Waco, Texas. Variety reports the two actors have joined a new mini-series about cult leader David Koresh.

From John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, the drama will “recount the bizarre chapter that saw Koresh’s obscure Christian sect dominate national headlines during the 51-day siege of the compound that housed his Branch Davidian followers.”

Kitsch is set to play Koresh alongside Shannon as FBI negotiator Gary Noesener. Weinstein Television is currently shopping to the untitled series to networks.
