Things don’t look good for Ten Days in the Valley. Deadline reports ABC has pulled the freshman TV show from its Sunday-night timeslot.
The mystery drama centers on Jane Sadler (Kyra Sedgwick), a television producer whose daughter disappears in the middle of the night. The cast also includes Kick Gurry, Erika Christensen, Josh Randall, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Felix Solis, Francois Battiste, Abigail Pniowsky, Ali Liebert, and Marisol Ramirez.
Effective immediately, Ten Days in the Valley will no longer air on ABC on Sunday nights as it has been for the past four weeks. Instead, the show will take a break and return on Saturday, December 16th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back new episodes.
The schedule shift suggests ABC is leaning towards cancelling the low-rated series. Currently, Ten Days in the Valley is averaging a .44 in the 18-49 demo and only 2.714 million viewers, making it the network’s lowest-rated series for the 2017-2018 season so far.

I may not fit into the 18-44 age-slot but I like the show; perhaps it had weak moments but a flat-out cancellation seems harsh. Some of the absolute garbage on the major networks makes me question who makes these judgement calls.

I love the show and had been wondering when the next episode would air. I hate they’re not giving it a chance.
I have looked forward to Sunday evening just to watch this show and am very disappointed that it is not on. I now see it will be on in December and very happy to see what happens next.
