Margot and Ben’s other partner, Reggie Lennox (Alimi Ballard), sets up Ben’s extraction. Reggie says Ben is so “method” that when he takes on a con, he becomes his character.
Reggie knows Ben has fallen for Alice. Once “Christopher Hall” kisses Alice goodbye for the last time, Reggie gets into her place and erases all evidence, fingerprints, DNA, etc. that proves he even existed.
On their final morning together, Alice wakes to see “Christopher” has been watching her sleeping. Picking up on his solemn mood, she asks him what is wrong.
He proposes they run away together, immediately, and start all over. Alice laughs it off, but is unnerved by his mood, so later says she will do so, after she nabs Mr. X.
Later, at the office, she tells Valerie that Christopher wanted to elope. Valerie tells her to forget the case and go marry her man.
Alice leaves “Christopher” a voice message to that effect, but by the time she arrives home, Reggie has already eradicated any trace of Ben at Alice’s home and at “Christopher Hall’s” office.
Before long, Alice figures out her erstwhile fiancé is Mr. X. By then, though, Ben, Margot, and Reggie have obtained Anderson/Vaughan’s client information and can access their accounts. Ben has also walked off with Alice’s life savings of 1.4 million dollars.
After Danny re-encrypts the client database, Alice and Valerie use a client to turn the tables on the team of cons. Sophie takes it a step further and drains their accounts, leaving the crooks desperate for cash.
Former Interpol and current FBI Agent Jules Dao (Jacky Ido) knows Anderson/Vaughan is after Mr. X, who he has been tracking for a long time. Fearful of ruining the firm’s reputation, Alice convinces Valerie that they cannot cooperate with him, or come clean with their clientele.
Dao knows Anderson/Vaughan has not been straight with him. Meanwhile, Ben plants a painting, fraught with emotional meaning, in Alice’s home. The game is on.

What do you think? Do you like the The Catch TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
Love this show! I keep emailing ABC and have signed online petitions. Encourage others to do the same. Try Save The Catch@petition.org, seems to be the fastest growing.
Great show, keeps your interest every minute. Hate to see it cancelled.
Please reconsider cancelling this show. It is something we look forward to watching every week. Especially don’t leave us hanging with the season 2 ending without wrapping everything up. I can’t understand why the good shows get cancelled and the stupid ones get renewed.
Please don’t cancel this show. It’s great and far better than other shows that have been renewed. And especially don’t leave us with the season 2 ending without resolving everything. That would be even worse than cancellation.
Please consider renewing The Catch. It was by far one of the best shows on television!
I love this show. Why are you cancelling it. Bring it back.
This show should not be cancelled….one of the best shows on TV!!!!
Love this show, please please do not cancel it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable!!! One of the best shows on TV! Had just introduced new characters, the plot was starting to thicken. Get a clue! Learn what we like and STOP Cancelling what we like!!
Please don’t cancel
Great show! Excellent cast and clever plots. Cannot believe ABC would cancel a highly entertaining show! Really need to rethink your decision making process on quality viewing! A shocker to hear about this online as opposed to hearing this plot twist on a well written episode of The Catch! I miss the show already! Well done, everyone! ABC you really blew it!
Please don’t cancel The Catch. I love the chemistry between the stars.
Love this show! It should definitely be renewed. It has class and sass. When I saw Peter Krauss on the headline I knew I had to watch it. Loved loved loved Six Feet Under!!
Bring back The Catch. Need my fix!
too bad. Looked forward too it every week.
I love this show! Why has it been canceled? All bc you put it at the same time as Empire? Put it on at a different time! Plz don’t get rid of yet another show that my husband and I actually enjoy watching.
