After having to endure nearly a year of rumors and false hopes, fans of The Game are finally getting the news they’ve been waiting for.
First airing on UPN, The Game began as a spin-off of the long-running comedy, Girlfriends. The series centers around a first year medical student (Tia Mowry) who chooses to follow her pro-football boyfriend (Pooch Hall) to San Diego. Others in the cast include Brittany Daniel, Coby Bell, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, and Barry Floyd.
In September, news surfaced about the show being revived but nothing happened. In October, there were more rumors but still nothing happened. Then, in November, the cast reunited on The Mo’Nique Show. Promos showed the host asking the cast if The Game was coming back but that portion was edited out of the final broadcast without explanation.
Last month, a much stronger rumor about The Game’s return surfaced with the show’s stars insinuating that an actual announcement would be forthcoming.
Today, BET made it official. The Game will be coming back in the last few months of this year.
There’s no definitive word yet on how many episodes have been commissioned or if some or all of the castmembers will return. We’ll keep you posted as details become available.

I think it is GREATTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that the Game is coming Back, I would love to see all the same characters in the show as before but would watch it no matter what!!!!
I absolutely LOVE this show, and watch the re-runs everyday! It’s like my girl time and a great way to get fashion tips too. I really want to see how Tasha & Kelly play out after that TKO at the wedding; and can’t wait to see the baby, Melanie, Janae, and Derwin. It should have been brought back long before now… nice job BET!!!
I cant wait till the show comes back along with the characters. There is to many unanswered? That was left off from season 3. So please bring the show back i luv it.

I’m soooooo glad that the game is coming back I LOVE this show, and i want all the cast members to come back, i still watch all the reruns everyday, but im ready for the new shows to start. I will be waiting!!!!

EVERY ONE HAS SIGNED CONTRACTS BUT JASON. jASON SAID HE HAS STARTED ON ANOTHER SITCOME, BUT HE WILL TRY HIS BEST TO JUMP IN AND OUT. BUT I THINK IT WILL WORK OUR PERFECTLY DUE TO HIM AND KELLY SEPERATED AND DUE TO HIM BEING TRADED.
I absolutley love the show. I have seen every episode! I want it to continue, I wanna see what happens with the Melanie, Derwin, and Janae situation. Also the Jason and Kelly ordeal, I so want them to be together! And of course it will be sad if the same cast won’t be able to be on the show, so all we can do is hope that they all are! Especially Pooch Hall, b/c he’s yummy! To end this all I want to say is “I LOVE TEH GAME!!!!!!!”
