The summer is over and so is The InBetween TV show on NBC. The drama series, which ran from May until August, has been cancelled and won’t be returning for season two next year.
A psychic police procedural, The InBetween stars Harriet Dyer, Paul Blackthorne, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan, Andres Joseph, Michael B. Silver, and Sean Bulger. The paranormal drama centers on Cassie Bedford (Dyer), who is gifted with abilities she often considers a curse. Cassie has unbidden visions of events past and future and is also approached by spirits who need her help in some way. She gets drawn into the cases her foster father, Seattle Police detective Tom Hackett (Blackthorne), works with his new partner, former FBI profiler and LAPD detective Damien Asante (Cornwell).
The first season of The InBetween averaged a 0.40 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.57 million viewers. Of the peacock network’s seven summer series, The InBetween ranked in last place in the demo and nearly last place in viewers (just about Hollywood Game Night).
The show’s 10th and final episode aired on August 14th and left fans with a cliffhanger that seems unlikely to be resolved.

This was a great show, really enjoyed it, one of the few I looked forward to
SO very disappointed! I feel this show wasn’t given a chance to grow fans! I miss it and that there was no conclusion just sucks !

I’m so disappointed to hear the cancellation. I watched every episode it was my show every Wednesday night. Heartbroken, so well written directed and great actors/actress.
Why would a great show like this be cancelled? It’s annoying when you start to like a show and they take it off you didn’t even give it a chance bring it back at least for another season you can’t leave us hanging like this.
I loved the in between, and have been waiting for it’s return, please don’t cancel it, there isn’t enough decent shows on tv as there is. Please bring it back!

I was just searching to see when the show was coming back, I was sooo disappointed when I read the show was cancelled. I loved the cast and the theme of the show. I didn’t miss an episode last summer. Hopefully another network will pick it up, summer is a bad time to bring in a new show, people are to busy with vacations and outside activities to watch much TV.
Both my wife and I just loved watching this show. Please bring it back!

My wife and I enjoyed this show very much. We were going to watch if there was a second season. The acting was good and the story was interesting.
I would’ve watched a 2nd season. It really annoys me that I find a programme I like and then it gets cancelled before it’s really had a chance.
This is one show that deserves a second season, no question!
