TV show description:
This multi-camera sitcom revolves around about a close-knit, sports-crazed family from Boston, the McCarthys.
Athletically challenged 29-year-old son Ronny (Tyler Ritter) gets a great opportunity to move to Rhode Island where he can join the singles scene and hopefully find a great guy to be his partner. His distraught mother, Marjorie (Laurie Metcalf), isn’t upset that her favorite son is gay, but that he wants to leave Boston and his family.
Ronny’s plans are thrown into disarray when his politically incorrect and outspoken father Arthur (Jack McGee), the head basketball coach at a local high school, wants Ronny to be his assistant.
Touched by his father’s offer, Ronny embarks on a completely different future than the one that he’d planned. This move shocks his more-than-qualified twin brothers Sean (Jimmy Dunn) and Gerard (Joey McIntyre) and their sister Jackie (Kelen Coleman) and it’s not long before they’re crying foul.
Episode #15 — End Games
The McCarthy children are sent into a frenzy when they each try to prove that they are responsible enough to be appointed executor of their parents’ will.
First aired: July 11, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like The McCarthys TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season instead?
PLEASE DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!
Please keep the McCarthy’s….This show is funny…It seems “they” always want to cancel the good shows!
Pls keep the show on, it’s very funny and entertaining.
I love this show< Please bring it back!!!
Love this show! Please Do Not Cancel it!
I’m sure they will cancel it. It’s not crass and vulgar enough for most Americans to like it. And then of course CBS is not very good at figuring out which ones of their new shows deserve at least a fighting chance.
Please DO NOT cancel The McCarthys, love that show, makes me laugh!
What a shame this sitcom has been cancelled. There are not many family themed shows today. You can relate to the McCarthy’s as like your family or the complete opposite. Is Tyler Ritter the son of John Ritter? Maybe cable will pickup the show and give it a chance rather than play the ratings game. I’m tired of all the war games, unfunny and reality tv. Back to keeping the television off.
This is one of my favorite shows. Please don’t cancel it.
My husband and I watch this show every week. The actors are all great!! Love this show!! Please keep it on!! There just aren’t enough funny, non violent and clean shows anymore. There needs to be more family shows
love the McCarthys.keep the show on
We love the McCarthys. PLEASE renew it.
My wife and I love this show and would be very disappointed to see it cancelled. Please renew it for another year. The cast is wonderful.
As an Irish-American brought up in Boston, I find this show to be condescending and offensive. You have covered every stereotypical and insulting characterization of Irish Americans, except one. They don’t have a pet Leprechaun. Get this piece of trash of the air.
This is one of the few new shows that we watch without fail. Laurie Metcalf is a genius and is a pleasure to watch each week. Please renew this show!
