TV show description:
This multi-camera sitcom revolves around about a close-knit, sports-crazed family from Boston, the McCarthys.
Athletically challenged 29-year-old son Ronny (Tyler Ritter) gets a great opportunity to move to Rhode Island where he can join the singles scene and hopefully find a great guy to be his partner. His distraught mother, Marjorie (Laurie Metcalf), isn’t upset that her favorite son is gay, but that he wants to leave Boston and his family.
Ronny’s plans are thrown into disarray when his politically incorrect and outspoken father Arthur (Jack McGee), the head basketball coach at a local high school, wants Ronny to be his assistant.
Touched by his father’s offer, Ronny embarks on a completely different future than the one that he’d planned. This move shocks his more-than-qualified twin brothers Sean (Jimmy Dunn) and Gerard (Joey McIntyre) and their sister Jackie (Kelen Coleman) and it’s not long before they’re crying foul.
Episode #15 — End Games
The McCarthy children are sent into a frenzy when they each try to prove that they are responsible enough to be appointed executor of their parents’ will.
First aired: July 11, 2015.

The McCarthy’s instantly became my new favorite show. I think it was the best show on CBS! It was one of the few shows on tv that was just plain funny without making dirty jokes every 10 seconds. I feel like it didn’t even have a chance. I’m so mad that it got pulled.
My family and I loved this show. It was good clean entertainment. You take it off and leave the filth of Two Broke Girls.
Don’t cancel the show – it is the best new sitcom on CBS! Really funny!
Love this show, so funny! Don’t cancel it, best sitcom in years!

Gosh, I hope The McCarthy’s doesn’t get cancelled. We need another season. There’s so much of the story left unfinished. This is such a refreshing family-friendly comedy that deserves to be on tv.
Loved this show from the first time I saw it! My son did, too, and he’s 19. Laurie Metcalf is wonderful. Why are other sitcoms still on TV and getting renewed? I don’t think this show was given a chance.
Please don’t cancel this show. There aren’t a lot of quality family friendly shows on tv these days. It has s great cast and witty writing.
